At the edge of town overlooking the bay, this restaurant serves various foods but specializes in seafood. My friend and I had a... wonderful lobster meal. We don't normally have desert but they have a case of fruit pies up front as you come in. They did nothave to ask if I wanted desert. I was anxious for it and it was worth the wait. Service was great. Place is a newer building andsuper clean. Read more

Absolutely delicious fried belly clams, such tasty and light batter! Fries and slaw were great. Pleasant view out of the window... and the lady who served me was super friendly and attentive too! Update! Came a second time and had blueberry pie, wonderful. Can see why Maine people go all in for that sweet sweet little berry. Read more

Helen?s is a decent sized restaurant with mostly indoor but also outdoor seating right on the water. It wasn?t busy on a... Wednesday afternoon in August around 2:30. They have an extensive menu with seafood choices as well as many other options. Ittook about 5 minutes before our waitress appeared. We placed our drink and food orders immediately. The waitress brought somehomemade yeast rolls, and the food arrived shortly after. We had the steamed clams, haddock sandwich and spicy chicken salad. The clams came with some clam juice for rinsing and melted butter. My friend who ordered the clams enjoyed them but he was stillhungry when he was done. His wife ordered the haddock sandwich with fries and a side of coleslaw. It was a nice sized piece oflightly fried fish. The french fries looked hand cut and were quite good. I had the salad which was very fresh. Not fillingthough as it was mostly lettuce with a couple cucumbers and small tomatoes. The chicken is on the spicy side so be warned. Thehomemade pie slices are huge! They have all sorts ? blueberry, strawberry, lemon meringue, coconut cream and others. We had thecoconut cream, and it was delicious. Main concerns are the waitress never picked up any, and I mean any, dirty dishes from thetable, and she took her sweet time bringing our check. Not because she was waiting on other tables but because she was chattingup her fellow non-workers. Read more

WOW. We had the chicken sandwich and chicken wrap, both were great! The onion rings were probably the best we?ve ever had.... Prices were fair and the portions were huge, we could?ve split a side of the onion rings and still have leftovers. The pie?Phenomenal. Especially the banana split Read more

This restaurant has earned a great reputation for it's pies, but don't think for a minute that that is all they have to offer.... Their menu is packed with delicious Maine favorites, including an amazing chowder and super generous lobster rolls. Looking forsomething other than seafood? Try the chicken and waffles that have an unexpected spicy kick that makes them worth coming backfor again and again. Read more

What a treat. Came for the lobster rolls. Delicious and hearty. The homemade onion rings though.... They stole the... show . Tried the blueberry and goat cheese burger. Surprisingly creamy and a little sweet. Couldn't resist the blueberry pie ala mode. Food and service were great. Read more
