We stayed in the inn part of this resturant/inn combo, and it was nice. It was a good price for a cozy room that provided just... what we needed. The rooms smelled clean and everything was tidy. They strive to be environmentally friendly as well, glassdishes and silverware so it can all be reused, it\'s good to see. The shower head is a little short if you\'re above 5\' 9\",which was fine for me but my 6\" husband found his noodle bonked once or twice. This wasn\'t really a huge problem for usthough, just a tidbit. We really enjoyed our stay, and how close within walking distance it is to resturants and nearby to theself tour mining tour. Very friendly owners and staff, and good place to rest your head. Read more

Had lunch here today. Best tacos I?ve had in a long time also 12 taps definitely coming back for some pizza!!!
To me, this place represents the essence of Mackay and warmth of the people who live in the valley.\n\nFamily friendly.\n\nFood... is awesome, recommend the Slough pizza.\n\nBeer on tap.\n\nStaff are extremely friendly and attentive.\n\nBathrooms areclean.\n\nEdit: I\'ve only credit twice in my life. The sweetest little gal served us! We had to cancel room reservations last minute, but decided to have a bite to eat. The... waitress gave us excellent service and was more than happy to help us out with the reservation. The food was excellent, kudos tothe cook. We will definitely be back again when we pass through! Very clean, nicely decorated, Great view of the Mine Hill! The pizza was Very good, what I appreciated was, when I glimpsed into... the kitchen those working with the food were wearing gloves. Staff were friendly and helpful. Read more
Well thought this would be a great weekend came for a family memorial. We had 2 rooms for the weekend and went in the first room... seemed good looked clean didn\'t have a stench, walked into the Second room and had the most horrible moldy wet mildew smell inthe room. Called and asked for them to check it out a woman and man came over as if there was no smell and what a burden we wereto call and inform them of the stench coming from the room, the couple did not say anything and walked away. We had others comesmell the room and they definitely smell what we were smelling but the coustmer is the burden!!!We went to the market paid over10.00 for room spray that did not help the situation. Ordered food the food was good Ordered a salad and asked for a fork andthe response we got was unbelievable the coustmer service was horrible and so were the rooms!!!!! Dropped in to try the pizza out. It did not disappoint. Place was busy but it\'s also a small place. We were able to get an... empty table and didn\'t wait to long for a menu. Reasonable time between ordering and getting our pizza. Waitress wasattentive and friendly. Pizza was delicious. We also got an appetizer and 2 drinks. Spent $30 for 2 people and had leftovers.
