We went twice on our recent trip to the island. Whitefish and chips were great at lunch! The only thing I'd change is CLEAN THE... MUD VEIN OUT OF THE FILET!! We also visited for dinner. My husband and Neptune's Pasta and I had the Grilled Chicken Alfredo.For dessert, chocolate lava cake. Our dinners were wonderful. Service was also excellent. The last time we were here was atleast 8 years ago! We had such a great experience then that we were worried about going again...but we are so glad we did. Thankyou for a delicious experience. We had a little bit of a wait for dinner, not unexpected. We chose Millie?s because there was a sandwich that my daughter... wanted on the menu. We didn?t realize that lunch menu was completely different than dinner menu and she couldn?t get thesandwich at that time of the day. Disappointed but not a deal breaker. Especially since we had already waited a half hour for atable and there would be a wait at any restaurant. She got the chicken Alfredo. Chicken was dry but the pasta was good. I gotthe olive burger, which was decent. They put bacon on it for their twist and the bacon was the toughest thick cut bacon I?veever had.-it was more like jerky. We also got the bbq wings as an appetizer. Overall, the food was ok, but not worth the price.The establishment is very busy, but since there?s limited restaurants and a zillion people here this time of year, they manageit very well. Heard about this place from the seasonal employees, they were right, the fried greenbeans were The Best! For those with limited... walking abilities, no steps plus seating close to the door! Great restaurant! Great customer service. Very clean. Read more
Neptune Pasta was one of the best I?ve ever had. So creamy and flavorful!
The food was absolutely fabulous and so was the service. The fish tacos were full of fish and flavor underneath so delicious.... The fried green beans were the best I've ever had they were very fresh and delicious. Read more
A small old-fashioned saloon style diner next to the Mackinac Island Carriage Tours. The meatloaf is Southern style and my wife... didn't like it as it was just meat and gravy. The white fish was good but the tomato seemed a little under cooked. I realizethat it's a small kitchen for the menu it offers, some places would offer less. I like white fish so much that I would like togo to all the restaurants on the island and compare the taste and quality of the dishes. Maybe next visit. Read more
