Great atmosphere. Sports bar, dining area and waterside dining all in the same restaurant. We sat on a closed outside deck next... to the water overlooking the Star ferry dock. Food was flavorful and reasonable sized portions. Well presented and service wasattentive. Our water glasses were rarely empty. Prices were comparable to other Mackinaw Island restaurants, higher thanmainland restaurants. We enjoyed the ceasar salad and the Salmon, chicken stuffed with Bossin cheese, hamburger, and Frenchdip. I've always thought of the Pink Pony as a late night stop for appetizers and drinks and often some live music. Although that is... the case, I recently experienced another atmosphere that adds to what this must try island stop has to offer. An amazingwaterfront patio (Heated on cool evenings) with delicious high quality food, drinks, and exceptional service. The whitefish wasour favorite, but everything was amazing. Expect to pay average to above average Mackinac Island prices. Worth it! Read more
We stopped here the minute we got off the ferry to have dinner. The food was delicious and they had a nice variety of craft... beers. Emir was our server and was very pleasant and engaged us in conversation. He also made suggestions in what beers toenjoy. Would definitely come back here in the future. Read more

Of the three or four spots that my party visited for drinks on Mackinaw Island, this was my favorite. Attentive staff kept the... drinks coming while we waited at the bar for an outdoor seat. The Pony has a cozy feel. Numerous craft and domestic beers tochoose from, as well as a full bar for harder drink options. Once we were seated outside, we took in a beautiful view of theport while a talented two-piece band played/sang music in front of the water. The patio was busy, but again, our service wasgreat. We ordered lunch and there were no complaints. My burger in particular was pretty good, and the sweet potato fries weresome of the best I've had. I'd recommend a visit if you're trying to choose. So good we went here twice! First visit was for lunch. They had a 30-45 minute wait so we sat at the bar which is first come,... first serve. Our appetizer was the smoked whitefish that is served warm. It was suburb. Our lunch entree?s son were the SantaFe wrap and gourmet patty melt. Both were excellent. The Santa Fe might be a better choice since it is lighter and if you?regoing to continue to bicycle around the island. We stopped again during dinner time for drinks since earlier we overheard thebartender say they serve 70,000 of their signature Rum runner drinks a season. We had one (or maybe more) with a dark rumtopper. Fantastic! I can see why it is their signature drink. Low top, booth, bar and patio seating. Fast, friendly service. Beprepared for a wait during peak times. Pricy but as I say to balance things out ?It?s cheaper than Vegas.? I would definitelyrecommend. Read more
This is by far my favorite bar on mackinaw Island! It?s always a good time, great atmosphere! A group of 14 of us friends just... recently came to the pink pony and they were able to accommodate us by the bar and our bar tender was the best, remembered ournames and orders and got our stuff out quick. They occasionally have live music in the summer on the dock side. The drinks arestrong and the food is great! It?s also a hotel with a pool and hot tub. But you Have to get a Rum runner with a dark rum float,trust me. Read more
We ate breakfast and dinner here and enjoyed both. The French toast is fantastic.... it looked and tasted as good as it looks in... the picture on the website. We had burgers for dinner and both were cooked perfectly and very juicy. The soft pretzel as anappetizer was unique and tasted very fresh. Dessert had a beautiful presentation and was a tasty end to the meal. Read more
