Stopped by here for a night cap after arriving in town late. The bartender said they are the only bar in the city open after... 10p. They don?t have flights but will let you get a taster of a beer before you get a full pour. Great prices for a tourist areaon a pint. Friendly local bar tender. Limited parking. 5 stars for being open after 10p! I would return. Read more
Best cod fish ?n chips I?ve ever eaten! FIVE 5? pieces in the lightest batter ever and deep fried just right. Good size portion... of very nice chips/fries. I?d come back here just to eat these again. Husband's Cobb salad was large and good too. Yum-yum-yum!???? Read more
Up for a weekend and had the Cherry Wheat brewed in house at the Dixie. Was fabulous. Also , the Rum Runner. A few cocktails... before a day on the island . O?Reilly?s has ( same restaurant as the Dixie ) an amazing selection on beers and seltzers . Trieda Long drink Stephanie suggested ( made with gin ) and it was pretty good! Definitely the chill side of the Dixie. But Matt andSteph were very attentive and we will be back for dinner after our stay at the Mission Point on the island ! Thanks for makingus feel at home ! It's connected to Dixie Saloon. You actually get their menu too so if you want a less of a bar scene go there instead. When we... went to O'Reilly's, it was empty at lunch time. Had about 10 booths so we took one. Bartender was our server and they didgreat. Dixie Saloon's food was good. Was hoping for more Irish food, which is the reason for the 3 stars. A vibrant and busy place with great ambience. Located in the heart of the city, the bar has ample selection of cocktails and... beers to choose from. The service is very good. Would love if they include at least 3-4 vegetarian items on their entrées menu. Read more
Food is excellent. Fun and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately our server was not very patient and seemed very passive aggressive... when asked questions about what was on tap. Considering the higher than average price, this should've been a more pleasantdining experience. Read more
My husband and I came in last night to have dinner on our anniversary. The server was awesome (didn?t get his name) and so was... our food! We will definitely be back. The burger with the Mac and cheese and the pretzel bites with cheese. So good. Our drinkswere great too! Read more
OMG. I?m obsessed with their Mack n? Cheese! Topped with pulled pork and fried onions it is so good. My husband got a breakfast... plate and was pleased as well. The bar was beautiful and I loved the booths. We were treated wonderfully and the waitress madesure we were taken care of. Drinks were great too. Definitely coming back. Read more
