They were out of pizza sauce but the fine young lady running the submarine sandwich franchise mixed and matched the sauces to... make a perfect pizza sub!! Read more

I appreciate that there was food in Macklin as I'm on a long roadtrip. I stopped at the subway to order a meatball sub with... extra cheese, salt, pepper, that's it. Very simple sub. They put the meatballs in the oven a couple of times, so I figured itwould be hot. They dumped an insane amount of sauce on the sub, which covered pretty much the entire bun, making it so Icouldn't hold my sandwich without getting my hands coated in sauce. I decided not to say anything, I took the sub out to mytruck to eat it. What a mess... Meatballs were cold, I took two bites and tossed the rest out as there was a lineup and thestaff were flustered so I didn't want to add to that. I didn't know you could make a terrible super simple meatball sub, but Iguess you can. Read more
