Busy at lunch time on a Sunday, probably because there isn't much else in the area for food. Staff was friendly despite being... run off their feet. I stopped in the morning for a foot long and some cookies. The sandwich was good but the cookies were all quite hard. I came... back for a late lunch and got a salad which was very good as always. I appreciate that there was food in Macklin as I'm on a long roadtrip. I stopped at the subway to order a meatball sub with... extra cheese, salt, pepper, that's it. Very simple sub. They put the meatballs in the oven a couple of times, so I figured itwould be hot. They dumped an insane amount of sauce on the sub, which covered pretty much the entire bun, making it so Icouldn't hold my sandwich without getting my hands coated in sauce. I decided not to say anything, I took the sub out to mytruck to eat it. What a mess... Meatballs were cold, I took two bites and tossed the rest out as there was a lineup and thestaff were flustered so I didn't want to add to that.
