Unexpectedly delicious! We got a tip to visit from a college student in town and it was a great recommendation. We had a... fantastic Rueben and a hearty turkey club. The rye bread for the sandwiches was thick and flavorful. The turkey was thick andjuicy. The corned beef was tender and steamy with a good corn beef flavor. The cherry on top? My husband and I love the Hometown Cafe! Melissa and the other waitresses are so warm, friendly, and hard working. We normally... get the early bird breakfast but today got the country skillet which is also wonderful! I?ve also tried their omelette which isvery healthy and great tasting and even better to know they use eggs out-of-the-shell for their omelettes ?and not the cartoneggs (Ew). We highly recommend this restaurant for good quality home style food. Read more

Good solid food, popular local place, plenty of room for parking an RV with easy access to the highway as it is right on it. I... had the hashbrowns and cornbeef skillet which comes with two eggs as you like them. The food was very good and the staff wasdelightful. Ambiance is lacking, but it is a road side cafe. Read more
The food and service was good, but as someone who is not Christian and a part of the LGBTQ+ community I did not feel welcome.... Got dirty looks from many customers I?m guessing because of my appearance (piercings, hair,). Felt like I was being judged thewhole time. I don?t care what their political views are, but they make it very clear who is welcome and who is not. Read more
