Very fun, yet somewhat upscale restaurant with consistently great waitstaff and food. Every time we have eaten at this... restaurant, our orders, despite tweaks, were perfectly accurate, hot and delicious! We love that they allow reservations forsmaller groups. They welcome guests with a bread basket and oil….a really nice amenity that so many restaurants areeliminating. We were celebrating the 21st birthday of a young friend, and they even brought a cake with a candle! J.Baldwin’s has incorporated a few of those little luxuries of days gone by into a contemporary and refined restaurant and itreally works! Highly recommend! Read more
Every time we dine at J. Baldwin's, we are reminded why we choose to celebrate our special occasions here. Thank you so much to... our server Nikki for making last night our best experience to date! She took excellent care of us, and extra-special cautionwith our (multiple) severe food allergies. On top of that, she brought out plates of dough for the children in our group to maketheir own bread to have with dinner. It kept them entertained, and made them feel extra special. April 2022 - wife and I came here for a date night. I ordered the jambalaya and my wife ordered the shrimp and grits. Both were... very good. They had a small band playing. They were good to hear while we talked. Good place to come. One of our favoriteplaces. They also do catering and they have a bar with a couple of tv's from what I could see. Read more
First time here. Made a reservation, got seated quickly. The server was great. Nice atmosphere. The food was good. Came.out... fast. We forgot our leftovers. Went back to get them but they had already been thrown out. The manager offered to have thecooks make us a whole new dish. We didn't take the Manager up on the offer, but that's some great customer service to me. Read more
I sat with dear friends at the bar. The atmosphere is classy eclectic!! The bar staff was engaging and friendly and really know... how to mix a drink. The menu goes from trendy appetizers to very sophisticated entrees. I had shrimp tacos that were fantasticto the palate. I will definitely be back.
