I just moved right down the street from New York Deli like two months ago, I?m mad it took me this long to try this place out.... Everything was amazing, seriously. Best pastrami, best Russian dressing, flat out amazing. Getting to choose potato salad for aside was new to me, and I don?t regret it at all. Had a turkey bacon club on rye grilled. Delicious, friendly staff. I'd go again. My only small disappointment was the chips... served with it were a mini bag of Lay's and I was sort of hoping for some homemade chips. Or maybe something more fancy thanlays? Great service! Can't beat the free pickle appetizers! They have a large extensive menu. If you can't find something to eat, then... you are not hungry. I highly recommend the beef barley soup, clam chowder, the wing ding dinner, the fish and chips, the perchdinner, any of the sandwiches, especially the reuben, and the salads which are HUGE!! You get good value for your hard earneddollars, which is not easy these days! Tables and booths are spaced comfortably apart, and I who use a walker, can easilynavigate my way around. Western Omelette: Eggs were overly Browned, they should not have been overcooked at all. Cheese should always be inside an... omelette not on top to coverup the over cooked eggs. Deli classics plus pleasant surprises in this unassuming restaurant. It's great here. Items made to order as well. Large... portions but not ridiculous. Priced properly, in a family environment, with pleasant and attentive wait staff leads to a greatexperience and meal overall. Pickles on the table as an app are a scrumptious beginning. The server was nice. The corned beef didn't have much flavor. I did enjoy that they had free pickle slice appetizers.
