Disappointing meal especially given the better reviews we saw before coming here. Everything is ala carte so their reasonable... prices are deceptive as you get nothing but a plate of chicken. One of us had chicken parm and it was tender but had a?refrigerator/freezer? taste to it. If you?re a cook you know what I mean by this. Also no side veggie, no side pasta, so soupor salad. Unless you pay additional. The other meal was loaded with pasta when there was NO mention in menu description that itwould have pasta. Lots of pasta and very little chicken. Chicken was cut into tiny little strips and it too had arefrigerator/freezer taste to it. We had to ask for bread and a few pieces of tiny bread we?re brought on a flat plate. Odd wayto serve bread basket. Hoped we had found a local family restaurant that would be our new go to spot. This definitely isn?t it.The inside is charming with cozy booths but you need to have excellent food to go along with it. We?ll stick with Luciano?s.They may cost more but you also get a side of pasta, soup or salad and amazing bread. And the food is fresh and doesn?t tastelikes it?s been sitting open in a fridge/freezer. Read more

Yet another amazing meal! I?d say this is one of the best Italian joints metro Detroit has to offer! This place is great. I?ve... been occasionally coming for years and every time has been a good experience. The food is fantastic- Eggplant Parm is my newfavorite! Toasted rav and meatballs were great too. I stopped in for a carryout after Worship Service on Sunday. I cannot believe I waited 4 years to use my gift card! Veal... Parmeson with fresh green beans and a delicious house salad. Also got a chicken house salad and sausage and peppers special.Topped it all off with two mouth-watering homemade cannolis. I will be back to try the Walleye dinner with capers and artichokesauce! We had a lovely experience here on Friday night. Danielle served us and she did an excellent job. We ordered escargot and... calamari. Both were excellent! One of us ordered a small pizza, one of us ordered cedar planked salmon pescatore and mydaughter ordered Pollo Porta Bella. We all enjoyed our entrees! The atmosphere of this restaurant is pretty amazing. Super cozy and inviting. Christmas trees and decorations everywhere. If I'm... judging just the food alone, it's just mediocre. The service wasn't that great either, and it's not really priced right based onthe food. However, I would try it again. Maybe we didn't pick the right food. What a great find! This place is tucked out of view in the corner of a strip mall on eastbound Hall Road, and it's way too easy... to miss. We popped in on a Saturday night at 6 pm and had a delicious Italian dinner in a cozy booth with excellent service.Can't wait to go back! They were short staffed, so the restaurant was not full, but we managed to get a table and had a greatexperience. Service was a little slow, but they explained that's how it would be so we knew to expect it. The atmosphere of therestaurant along with fabulous, fresh food and delicious wine more than made up for the wait times! The house salad was sogood! Spinach, slivered almonds, cherries, and feta on spinach, yum! We had the Ruffino Chianti which paired perfectly with thelasagna and the cheese tortellini with chicken and broccoli. Save room for dessert! A macchiato with a sugar spoon along withthe tiramisu was the perfect finish to our dinner and kept up awake for the ride home. We will be back with friends asap! Read more
