Went here today with my husband and two toddlers and was very disappointed! Waited 45min for cold and unseasoned western... omelet,bland potatoes, bland steak and eggs. Chocolate Pancakes disgusting and dry, I didn't even know Pancakes could tastelike that, they looked and tasted like they came out of the frozen foods aisle. Cheesecake stuffed crepe was floating in liquid,looked and tasted undercooked Even my 3yo said her chocolate chip Pancakes were nasty. U know they can't lie. Steak bland, noseasoning, nothing. Idk about this place. If you pay close attention to the demographic that eat at this place it probablyexplains why the food is bland. I should have known better. Be prepared to feel nauseous,cause my family did. Not one,I mean oneounce of seasoning was on any of the food. Total waste of 40 dollars. I will never go back. I don't ever give reviews like this but I have to be honest... Mediocre at best! Super disappointed. The wait was maybe like ten... minutes but to get breakfast we waited an hour. I thought because this place was so packed that it would be great and it justwasn't. This place has went super down hill since 2021. I would not waste my time eating here at all. I ordered breakfast and was told 30 minutes, so I arrived after that time and had to wait another 30 minutes with no explanation... other than "it'll be a few minutes". I got home and noticed that my eggs that I ordered "over medium" appeared to be "over easy"and I was okay with that but once I put a fork in them, the whites were completely runny and I realized the eggs were pretty rawstill, so I did not eat them. I ate the rest of the breakfast but one piece of toast was stale and there were barely anypotatoes. My wife's cinnamon rolls were also very dry too, but my daughter's chicken salad was good. I never leave reviews butthis place is known for breakfast and I was very disappointed, especially since I could have went to any local Coney Island andgot a better breakfast for much cheaper. I would have called and asked to make it right but I don't have another hour to spare,so I went to McDonald's since I was still hungry. Never again Read more
Seen the great reviews and drive past here all the time. Today we stopped for a family's breakfast, luckily no wait to be sat... which was nice (just beat the rush). But i will say the food took much longer then anticipated (1 hr after ordering)...understandable they say certain items take longer... but they kept all the food back until it was ready.. even soups and kidsmeals. The table next to me ordered delicious looking American potatoes so i ordered them. They came basically undercooked. Nottryin to slam this place i just think i ordered the wrong items. The Apple PANCAKE was a large French toast thing (i hateeggs).. so i didnt enjoy it. Overall we are the kind of family to give restaurants a second chance but the wife and i agreedthis was a 1 and done for us. Read more
This restaurant is wheelchair friendly. Our waitress Connie was truly amazing a five-star act. The only thing missing was she... did not introduce herself when she came to the table. When I want a good German breakfast, this is where I go. A local family favorite for a very long time. Nobody makes a better... omelette. The German pancakes are fantastic. If you haven't tried the homemade toast, you're missing out. The homemade toastwith Dickinson Jam is a must-try. The fried potatoes were perfectly golden brown and excellent. Food was gross. Never had a place make an omelette that came out half cooked, slimy and inedible before. Most of the veggies in... it were completely raw. Toast tasted like whatever they cooked it in hadn't been cleaned in decades. Read more
