Today was my first time at Dovetail. The food was fantastic! Our server, Ms. Alex, was attentive and knowledgeable. 10/10. And... the young lady who brought out our food, Natalie, did a fantastic job. She knew everything there was to know about our cheeseplate, including specific types of cheese and where all of the cheese and toppings were from. Knowing that our food was grownand produced here in the Southeast made me feel great! Dovetail is a perfect place to go on a date. Expect to leave with a fulltummy and a pleased palette! Read more

I've got nothing but incredible things to say about this restaurant.. it is not very often food blows me away. The food:... perfectly seasoned. Cooked to perfection. Juicy. Flavorful. I tip my hat to the kitchen staff and the chefs. From the deviledeggs, to quail, to the catfish, to the scallops, the risotto, and the ribeye steak. Perfection on a plate. The cracked pie.It's nostalgic in a way. I've never had it before but somehow it reminded me of my childhood. Like when ego eats the ratatouillein the movie ratatouille. Our server, Alex, was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable of the entire menu. Described it in detail.Waited on us as if we were her only table. Thank you Alex for the excellent service! Start with the homemade yeast rolls with peachy butter. Honestly out of this world. The Chilean sea bass is so tender and... flavorful and comes over grits and fried brussel sprouts. I've never eaten grits in my life but in this entree, they wereperfect. The tenderloin filet is a very nice size and comes over delicious mashed potatoes. We ended our meal with the crackpie, which is basically a warm caramel pie topped with creamy, rich ice cream. It is a small serving but truly all you need withthe richness. The atmosphere here is almost like that of a speakeasy. You enter through a door within the Rookery Restaurant, goup a couple flights of stairs, and end up in this cool room with a large bar. I had the scallops & risotto with the sherry glaze sauce & bacon. The scallops were succulent & cooked perfectly. The... food/service/vibes were amazing all around. The staff is awesome. My husband had the honey mustard glazed pork chop with theroasted brussel sprouts & mac and cheese, and his food was amazing as well. 10/10. Read more

Super cool Farm-to-Table style restaurant. Kind of young vibe with very conscientious server Megan & food runner with great... suggestions. Even the General Manager checked on us. Google will ask me to be specific about our order... we ordered almosteverything! The "Put-ups" were 4 Tapas style spreads with smooth hot yeast breads. Ahhh! A couple bottles of nice DOCG Italianwines were a perfect pairing to it all. Crab dumplings, pear with brie salad, and the featured vegetable plate made for afantastic 55th birthday dinner!
