My husband and I travel 45 minutes just to eat at Johnny?s. We usually dine in on Friday nights, but we decided to visit on... Saturday night this past weekend. I could barely get the door open when I heard a deep friendly voice, ?Welcome, come on in!? Wetook a seat at the table. It was football night and what a great atmosphere! Soon after that deep friendly voice introducedhimself as Sanford. He was Johnny on the spot! He was amazing!!! I told him before we left that I didn?t know him, but I lovehim already!!! Every restaurant needs a Sanford!! Every business needs a Sanford!!! If I could steal him away to work at mybusiness, I would!! Please Mr. Owner take good care of this man, and give him the pay and position that he?s worth because he?sworth it all! Oh yeah?the calzones are always Great!! Read more

What a great little restaurant!! The pizza was perfect (we had the Johnny's Italian). Sanford greeted us at the door and... checked on us during our dinner. Great service from our waitress as well. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. Read more

Had a pleasant experience at Johnny?s Pizza. Ordered the Great White as a Stromboli. The best looking Stromboli I?ve ever gotten... here! Kudos to the kitchen team for taking it up another level!! All the staff were super nice and friendly, helping each otherout and handling the crowd. They even brought pizza dough for my daughter to play with! Good food, good times. Read more

Normally we have a great experience every time we visit Johnny?s, but this time was less than 5 stars. Since it was the weekend... it was no surprise that the restaurant was packed, but we did get seated rather quickly. Our server was also great, she?s waitedon us plenty before and has always taken great care of us. I have nothing negative to say about her service. My husband ordereda Stromboli and I got a salad and appetizer. We waited about 30 minutes for our appetizer, which we were fine with (and it wasdelicious!) but waited another 30 minutes for our entrees, which I only got my salad and we waited on his Stromboli, which wewere told would take about 5-6 more minutes. We waited about 7-8 more minutes and still hadn?t gotten his food, so I finished mysalad and our server apologized to us saying that the kitchen was making mistakes. We ended up not being able to wait any longerand had to leave without ever getting his entree. Just kinda disappointed in the organization tonight, although I do understandmistakes happen especially when it?s busy. We will still be eating here in the future, but will make sure we have plenty of timeto spare next visit. ****UPDATE: we went back last night and everything was fantastic! :-) the girls who work there are sosweet. We saw our server from our last experience and she came up and talked to us and made sure everything was good this time. Thanks for everything! Read more

If you will notice I have left 5 star ratings in the past, so I am very sad to comment on the tremendous decline of Johnny's.... This place has been our family's weekly pizza hang out for years. Unfortunately our last 3 visits have been terrible. I chalkedup the first 2 of these to just off nights which every restaurant has, but tonight was the final straw. It took over 10 minutesfor anyone to even acknowledge us. When someone finally spoke to us, we ordered 3 basic slices of pizza and a medium cheese andpepperoni pizza. This basic order took over 45 minutes to receive and when it arrived the pizza was burnt. Another family thatcame in after us was never served and left. I am genuinely sad about this experience. Johnny's has been a source of great familyenjoyment for us over the years. Unfortunately, I think we are going to have to find another pizza place for our weekly familyoutings. Read more

I got a gluten free, cauliflower crust, meat lovers pizza there (1st pic), and that is the best thing I?ve ever ate! I combined... that with a Coke, and oh my goodness! It is a little pricy now-a-days, Luke everything else: $18 for a 10?, but get a ?to go?boxfor leftovers, and save the $1.50 coupon on the lip of the box for next time. I thought my good pizza days were gone when I hadto go gluten-free, but they?re not!! I am not a big spender, but this pizza was worth every penny spent. (2nd pic is regularmeat lovers). Read more

My husband and I are here visiting and looking for that back home style pizza, (NYC) by way of reviews we found this place that... stated was just that. Came in for dine in, was quickly greeted by a friendly waitress. We had the lunch special two slices ofpepperoni pizza and ordered two side salads to accompany lunch. My husband, A garden salad which was fresh and good. My Caesarsalad was good too, I did not like how they cut the Romain leaf Into very little pieces, which made it difficult to eat. I didhowever appreciate the fresh parm cheese added on the top. Now as far as the pizza goes, well...I wouldn't consider that somuch as authentic NY style pizza. The tomato base was bright and floral which is what we do use back home, however the pepperoniwas lacking any real flavor and the crust was extremely thin, which gave the slice a droop and no real structure to hand feed.Thankfully the portion to ratio of all things combined to make up the pizza fit. The floors of the restaurant could have used asweeping in between guest as when I walked in stepped on a chunk of pizza that another guest had dropped. Among other trashscattered across the floor, I also noticed the amount of dust and grime collected on top of the security cameras in the cornerof the walls and the focal wall by the cash register looked worn and dirty, like a cleaning and a fresh.coat of paint would helptremendously. The dipping dots ice cream bin could use a scrub down as well, from where I was sitting could see the mold builtup around the rubber gasket on the lid. The ladies bathroom could also use a cleaning, the hand basin was dirty (hair and spit)and the toilet looked as though someone had urinated on the seat and had been uncleaned and left to dry. Lunch all around didit's purpose and we left filled, however it just missed the mark for being authentic NY style pizza. The restaurant could usesome attention by wait staff for sure to clean thru the day as guest come and go. Read more
