I love McAlister?s, so when we saw the sign from the hwy we pulled in. Huge disappointment. Almost every table was dirty ( dirty... dishes) There was only 1 other customer in the restaurant but they couldn?t be bothered to clean tables. I had my 2 favorites,veggie sandwich & Country potato soup. Soup had uncooked potato chunks in it & was room temperature. Sandwich consisted of apiece of lettuce - one single piece, 2 slices of tomato, ONE wedge slice of avocado & 2 slivers of onion . Ummmmmm Tea wasgood. Read more
I was there on 8/8/22 around 6:00 so that any managers that view this will know who I'm talking about. The young lady who was... handling the to go orders attitude SUCKS!! If it wasn't for the young lady on the register and the guy working in the kitchen(who thanked me for my patience) I would have asked for a refund. That is why I usually go to the Presidential store. I have been to this location 4-5 times now. The first two times were great the last two times were no customer service at all.... Previous to this visit another customer ordered a sandwich that included avocado with it. When the sandwich was given to thecustomer there was no avocado on it so the customer asked the employee why there was none. The employee proceeded to argue withthe customer stating that the sandwich did not come with avocado. After the exchange the customer had to point out on the menuthat the sandwich did in fact come with it. Today I had almost the same experience. I ordered a salad with avocado and asexpected I get out to the car and there is no avocado on the salad. The girl behind the counter does not want to deal with anycustomers so she intentionally turns her back to the ordering counter instead of facing the customers coming in the store.Overall the customer service here is terrible! This experience has put me off of McAlister's. No customers here yet the service was very slow and poor. My wife and I were... served 2 cold dishes that neither of us could eat. We could hear the 3 cooks complaining about their job and pay while we wereordering. The two in the front of the house were ok. Had the lemonade been bad I would have given no stars. 4:04pm Friday. (Takeout order). Had a kid?s order for turkey and cheese and it was really gross. They had some gross burnt expired cheese... attached to it and if a kid ate it, it would have made them sick. They didn?t have coffee cups, but charged us for the coffeeand didn't even give it to us. They didn?t give us utensils to eat with or a lit on my sweet tea. I wanted something different for lunch and I hadn't been here in a long time. I couldn't remember why so I say let's go. Walking... up to the building it was inviting and clean. I walked in and proceeded to the line. They moved quickly and efficiently. I didhowever feel out of place being the only visible person with a mask on. I ordered my food, received my teas & waited for myfood. It didn't take long for the food to be prepared. The tea was the best tea from a restaurant I've had. It was warm withlittle ice. I didn't mind it because I enjoy hot tea. The Ham and Cheese Melt was simple yet pleasant to eat. I prefer freshgreen lettuce on the McAlister Club but it wasn't bad. The mac and cheese was disappointing. I would never order it again. TheCaesar salad was fresh and I love the balance they provide on the ingredients. The hair on the outside of my box made me alittle cautious about the food. I did however check before consuming. Was it a $30 meal?, not to me. Will I go back?, maybe oneday. Just not soon. Read more
Road-tripping through on our way to FL. Incredibly SLOW, takeout order was wrong and food was bland. Best part of the experience... was Grayton who came out from the kitchen to help take orders (with a smile) then went back to help prepare meals. He?s a greatemployee and I hope his management takes note! Would we stop here again? Probably not? Read more
