We dined with this restaurant saturday. The food that I did eat was ok. I got a slice of sweet potatoe pie a side of Mac and... cheese but took it home with me. I got home that night and took a bite of pie and bit down on something crunchy. I spit it outand it was an egg shell. I used my fork to go through the pie and I found more bigger egg shells. I looked through the mac andcheese and found a piece of hair on one of the shells. I tried to call to let them know, but the number in Google and on theirwebsite was incorrect. Read more
They need more line servers. Normally only 2 or 3 people. I don't want to have to wait for a worker to come from serving a... customer vegetables to get me a salad and then walk me all the way. Very inconvenient. No hot water in restrooms. Food is hit ormiss. Waitresses are very nice and attentive. Julie and jasmine were great Read more
Horable! and very expensive. I ordered liver & onion. It was so very salty, couldn't rinse enough. Ordered chicken tenders.... Nothing tender about it. Tough as leather. Overcooked is not enough to describe. Wonder how many times it was reheated. Read more
Typical cafeteria. It is an older restaurant that has not been upgraded. But it's still clean and comfortable. I visited Macon... and ate there last year and the food was delicious. This year the quality does not seem to be quite as good. I would notrecommend that you go there close to closing time. They have servers to meet your needs if you have a problem or to refill yourcoffee or tea. They are absolutely wonderful and very attentive. Please leave them a tip. They're trying to feed their familiestoo. Read more
The food tasted great, the bathroom was well maintained, and the staff was nice, but the clean up and maintenance need to be... upgraded. There was food in my booth, on the seat, and also on the wall. The wood/panels need to be touched up/replaced. Read more
A great southern feeling from the moment you walk in. Everything you can imagine from broccoli raisen salad, famous sweet potato... pie, meats made with southern pride and vegetables even the kids will love. Kids eat for as low as 1.79, with a drink anddessert included! There is plenty of seating and covid standards are followed. The dining room staff is just as fast andfriendly with beautiful smiles, and will have ypu feeling like you've just left grandma's on a Sunday evening. Read more

Friday I had a chance to visit the S&S off Eisenhower and had an exceptional meal. The fried pork chop was fantastic. Combined... with a salad and turnip greens. I 110% recommend that if you are in Macon, to visit S&S Cafeteria! Read more
