Had a bad experience at this restaurant. We, me and my wife, got to our table and waited for our waitress for about 10 minutes.... Finally waitress showed up and apologized for our wait and brought us some bread and oil which was good. She also took ourdrink orders which was an Iced tea and a glass of water. Another 10 minutes goes by still with no drinks.. a manager comes byand asked us what we are drinking so we tell her and 10 minutes later still no drinks... a table right next to us came in andsat down (party of 6). ... the manager brings their water within 5 minutes and manager tells them "Appetizers are on me, sorryfor a long wait" I'm like really??? I know those 6 people couldn't have waited that long because that table was empty for 15minutes or longer. It took us 30 minutes to get our drinks and no apology from the manager and the manager never brought ourdrinks like she said she would. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic but the manager needs to learn how to treat allcustomers equally. Won't be recommending this place to anyone. Such a great little place. A very cozy, family place. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. We didn't wait long for... refills or food to arrive. When there was a tiny mistake with the order (I was given chicken instead of shrimp), it was quicklycorrected and they were very apologetic. Great prices and large portions. Even a lunch portion was huge and I couldn't finishit. Definitely a place I'd like to return to! Read more

The food was great. Nothing wrong with the food but the service was absolutely horrible. Ordered an old fashion it was forgotten... about for 30 minutes once I finally got it they made it with Jack Daniels … which isn’t bourbon…got our apps then waited15 minutes for plates and silverware. Absolutely love this place. From the fresh, amazing food to the candles in their bathrooms and the lights in their trees that... surround their patio...not to mention their wonderful service. Everyone was kind, friendly and helpful. Our waitress and thebakery staff made recommendations -which we loved every bit of- the fried zucchini- I never thought it could taste as good as itdid! We're making this our anniversary spot so that should say something! This place reminds me a lot of my grandparents wholived out in Jersey, we'd always have Italian when we'd visit and I really felt them at Ferraris. Like a second home. Ferrari’s Little Italy and Bakery is my favorite restaurant in Madeira with amazing food and great quality customer service.... I’ve never ever had a bad meal there. I absolutely love the four pepper salmon (pictured below). The sauce is to die for and Ihave even tried to recreate it at home but it is never as good as it is in-house. The salads are all delicious with freshingredients and the baked goods and desserts at the bakery are a must try. The inside of the restaurant has cute Italian feelsand the outdoor patio is beautiful. Patty, the owner is an absolute delight and very personable with customers. Our server wasalso very friendly and attentive. I love Ferrari’s and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Read more

I loved it I had eggplant Parmesan with spaghetti it was really good. I'll be back for dining I had carryout. The eggplant is... excellent I would say it's much better than the Olive garden. But nobody beats my eggplant. But I will be back I did have a goodservice and good people there too. They need to pack that place not many people know it's way in the back and Madeira.
