Been wanting to try this place forever so finally walked in and dined alone during a Monday lunch. I was the only diner for a... while inside but people were coming and going with take out orders. I started with the seaweed salad and the tuna tataki. Thetuna tataki was amazing! The best I've had. The seaweed salad was good. Could have had a tad bit more taste but I enjoyed it. Ithen ordered salmon sashimi and the salmon was also so good!!! And because I was having a day, I ended with the cream cheese andkrab wontons! They were fried perfectly. Not tough, but light and crispy. I will come back to Pete's over and over. The serverwas attentive and was sensitive to my couple phone calls too. 4 Stars for portions, but an extra .5 stars for quality/taste if I could give it. This is our second time here. Our first time... we got poke bowls, which were sorely lacking in amount of fish (compared to what I normally would get at other places ive gone)but their quality of fish is top notch, the rice was sub par - I think they offer an extra fish option, probably worth it. Andthe jalapeño sashimi I got wasn?t spicy at all, it was very disappointingly unspicy, but their fish quality was great. Thesecond time we got the Tuna Tower (basically a Poke) and for the extra couple bucks was way more fish! The size of this place - does not match the flavors! And even though the nonstop traffic, the staff operates harmoniously and... everyone is so so friendly n always smiling! Now about the food - they have very unique flavors n rolls, my favorite are theAmerican Maki Roll with BBQ sauce and the Best Friend! Hands down I can eat these everyday! They also have TONS of poke bowlsand make your own poke bowls! Appetizers are simple but fresh n service is quick! Bonus points - you can walk ovet to the chef nwatch them do their magic with the rolls. Craving sushi? Need a quick bite? Want someone to make you smile? Definitely mustvisit! I got the eel roll and the spicy salmon roll (specialty) and it was the most moist rice, fresh fish, and most delectable flavor.... Prices are expected for the quality you receive.( About $10-$15 per specialty roll) but service is great and flavor stilllingers in my mouth ????. Awesome Sushi resturant and great place and staff. Me and my family went here on our visit to Madeira beach and I have to say it... was amazing. The sushi was very fresh and well made. I had Thai Tea and it was also astounding. Perfect amount of creamer to thetea ratio. Along with I also loved the general aesthetic of the place. It could be a bit bigger to accommodate more people but Ithink that the layout was very well made and done. the staff was very nice and happy. One thing that was odd was when weordered we were given a menu to write on... but that menu didnt match the menu that you would order from. But other than that Ihave to give a 5/5 Read more
