Taking a drive up Gulf Blvd., wife and I decided to stop in this place. Really looking for something for lunch even though it... was 11:30, sat right down and was handed menu's and drink order taken...however the menus were breakfast menus and breakfast wasbeing served till 12:30. When the drinks arrived I asked if their were lunch menus and was told lunch didn't start till 12:30.We aren't the type to make a stink about what time they serve lunch so we told her to give us a moment. This was a blessing indisguise, I ended up ordering the "Deep South Benedict" (pictured) and it was awesome to say the least. The wife ordered herbiscuits and gravy...sorry forgot to take picture. We left there satisfied. Will need to stop back for the lunch menu. Read more

Great food and nice waiter. Ate inside, it was a bit loud for a smaller place but the find made up for it. Waiter recommended... the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer and it was delicious. It had like a crispy coating and then a delicious sweet with smallheat sauce. Definitely get it. I got the fish tacos blackened and it had a nice spice with great flavor in every bite. Wish themeal came with three tacos instead of two. recommend coming if you want some seafood or a good chicken sandwich. Read more

First time at the Reef. Beachy decor, outdoor seating. Bloody Maria was good, Hawaiian drink refreshing. I ordered grouper... benedict and got someone else's dish first. They switched the plates and grouper was rubbery and tasted not cooked enough. Iasked if I could get another cooked piece and second one also tasted rubbery. Chicken and waffles were good. Staff was great andtook the entire grouper dish off the bill, therefore saving them from bad impression and review. We'll try again because of thatto see if other things are better. Read more

Nice atmosphere, bartender made our drinks spot on, we ate bang, bang shrimp and smoked fish spread with crackers, both very... tasty. Oh, and the place serves breakfast, lunch & dinner with daily specials to a variety of people...families, couples, etc, etc. Overall it was a very pleasant place for two friends to drink, eat and catch up on life. Go ahead and enjoy yourselves.???? Read more
