Amazing and authentic Japanese restaurant in Madeira Park. Staff are super friendly, service was very good, and food was fresh... and delicious. Try the yuzu soda! Read more

Bad service. They asked if I could pay before I had dine in service .. and I had to fill my own water. The food was just okay,... suits for a quick take-out. Chicken teriyaki has the sauce on top & not cooked into the food. The sushi in the photo is thedynamite roll. Read more

Food is usually good, best sushi on the coast. Service terrible. Waited standing for 20 minutes to order and was then refused... service (takeout or dine-in) because they were closing in 45 minutes. Said they didn?t see me?standing in front of the till.Insulting. I?m being generous with two stars because I get everyone is stressed, short staffed and doing their best but it?sjust terrible service. Read more

We sat down for a meal and was not served any water. They even had the audacity to ask me to pay when I order for a sit down... dinner. I gave a standard tip thinking I?d get some service, including water, but no. Quite frankly the lady at the front wasnot friendly at all. She delivered the food and that was it. The food is nothing compared to the Japanese restaurant you?d eaton the mainland. The udon noodle came in a weird sweet soup. I?m only giving it two instead of one star because even though thefood wasn?t good, it was at least not inedible. Read more

The BEST bento we ate in a while! We live on the mainland and this is one of the best sushi places we have visited. The Panko... Salmon was so good! ?? Read more

This place kind of surprised me since I expected so much more based on the previous ratings. Prices about equivalent as big... cities as Vancouver, but still get less than them. Sushi could be better. O Canada special roll not really special for its price(one of most expensive). Gyoza just ok. Bento box was kind of rediculous. First, you get slices of chicken which would assembleto bring less than a quarter of a breast. Second, the California roll didn't have much crab. Usually the artificial crabshredded and mixed with mayo for the filling whereas this one had a small crab stick (can hardly see it in my photo). Finally, their "special appetizer" is a small spring roll (probably store bought) with raw bean sprouts. Staff member friendly, but itwas basically order at the front and everything else was serve yourself (water, chopsticks, napkins and soya sauce). Read more
