Is is all about the view really! Sitting on the patio is outstanding, and that’s where is stops really! The food is okay,... nothing to write home about! Its weird, no matter what main course meat you ordered you got the exact same potato dish andvegetables with it! It felt very cookie cutter, kind of big hotel conference kind of style. We booked last minute as we were staying at Rockwater Resort and had reservations for our anniversary there. A meal the night... before at the Rockwater restaurant was an utter disaster, fortunately the folks at The Lagoon were able to accommodate on shortnotice (thank you). We've been to The Lagoon a number of times in the past (visiting from Vancouver) and the experience had beenexceptional each time. Today was no different, the food was great, the service was outstanding, excellent wine selection, myonly critique would be the mix up on gluten free instructions. Luckily we caught the mistake on time, hopefully the kitchennoted this and learns for future guests. Definitely a recommended culinary experience when visiting the area. Read more

My wife and I enjoyed the food at Lagoon Restaurant located in the Painted Boat Resort. We particularly enjoyed the seared... scallops with butternut squash ravioli, and the pan fried snapper. Service was top notch and the decor and location wasbeautiful. The only thing that could have been better was the duo duck dish as the risotto was slightly undercooked (the texturewas a bit grainy) and the duck leg was a bit stringy, but still tasty and the seared duck breast was perfectly seasoned andcooked with a nice crispy skin. Stunning view, great food and service. Tried their mojito, margarita, cinderella, rack of lamb, duck duo, and creme brûlée.

LOVE the view, and the super sweet staff. This is a fine dining restaurant experience and you get to pick from a selection of... unique foods and drinks. As vegetarians, we had a handful of things we could pick for and also got a custom pasta that was intheir kids menu. We found the cauliflower appetizer and the Alfredo pasta to be delicious, and the filo pastry to be different.The price is on the upper side and reservations are tough to get so I’d save this for a special occasion. Dined there yesterday. Everything about this visit was perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful view. The service was... outstanding. I ordered the lamb ,my friends ordered the chicken and the halibut. The portions were large and the food did notdisappoint. The lamb was tasty and cooked to perfection. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I will definitely return. Read more
