Took my dad here for brunch on a Saturday, just the time not a restaurant special, and if was great! We had the kids... pancakes, chicken fried steak and the Hog Skillet. All of it was delicious. This place was in the Trip Advisor's top ten list and it did not disappoint. I would move it up to the top five. The food was... a great representation of American cuisine. The ingredients were natural and not highly processed as in many other Americancuisine places. The portions were just right. The decaf was the best I've had. We had the cinnamon roll French toast stylecombo, the double chocolate waffle, the bisquit and gravy and the salad and soup combo. All the meals were very good. Read more
Traveling from San Francisco to Round Rock, Texas. The Waffle Spot, hit the spot! Literally! Great portions, crispy bacon,... buttery hash browns, and of course the waffle, which was so good on its own with blueberries, the berries were not too sweet orbitter, it was perfect. Read more
Fabulous!!!! Veryyyyyyy Tasty!!!!! Great portion size!!!! Super sweet & friendly staff!!! The dining room is very clean. This... is the place to do if you want a nice breakfast. I've been here twice now and it definitely worth the 40 min drive for me. Youcan tell they're genuine people that care by the way they take care of you, as if you're family!! This place is awesome! Very delicious food at a very good price (even with inflation). Have not been disappointed; the only time... I?m disappointed is when they?re closed. But golly! Awesome food and the workers are very friendly and attentive. Read more
TLDR You've gotta go! We drove from out of town just to try the famous Waffle Spot today and boy, it was worth it! The food is... great, the atmosphere feels really good and family friendly. Service was wonderful and even though they looked very busy itdidn't take long to get seated or for our meals to come. I really respect that they are family owned and operated. You justdon't see much of that post covid. They also close on Sundays to give their employees a day of rest for worship and to spendfamily time. So much to love. Read more
Stoped on our way home from Shaver Lake. We decided to try this place out, glad we did. The fish & chips, the tri tip sandwich,... the omelets were excellent. I didn?t catch her name, a girl with red colored red hair and braces was our server, she did a greatjob. Read more
A+ for service. Very sweet gals serving, the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Food was OK. Chicken fried steak (chicken was... not so fresh or appetizing), potatos missing some other veggie besides onion that was a little undercooked and underseasoned.Gravy was yummy! Crepes are missing a little extra something maybe cream cheese would be a great addition? Apple waffles wereyummy. Definitely recommend and will return soon. Read more
