I love this time of year when they have the fireplace lit. It was so nice. The food was very good. Fresh. Our server was very... kind and attentive to us. Me and my sister were having lunch. We ate breakfast here this morning and the hostess, Shyla, had zero personality. She looked at us once she finally came to the... hostess stand, I of course said 2 when she made eye contact. She started walking with menus so we followed her, she laid themenus and silverware down and walked away. No how are you today, right this way, your waiter/waitress will be right with you.The waiter we had was rather slow and we had to ask for a couple items more than once because he forgot. I am very very very excited to see that they serve IMPOSSIBLE MEAT OPTIONS!!!!! GOOD JOB!!!! I have added them to my favorites... list. I had the grandma's breakfast with impossible sausage WONDERFUL!!!! I was pleased with my service and my food. Continue to work on mannerisms with your workers. I can see the improvements. Overall give them a try I enjoy the pancakes,fish, hashbrown casserole. Carrot, impossible meat, broccoli, and a variety of other menu items. Good place for breakfast. I had steak and eggs. The price was reasonable and the steak was perfectly cooked to mid-rare. Our... server Roshelle was a delight. She was very attentive and friendly. We had a party of 6 for Easter Sunday. We did the online waitlist, so the wait wasn't too bad. However they were short servers... and after sitting at our table for 10 minutes an adjacent server took care of us because our zone server was late. Thank youJerome for taking our table...you service was excellent! The only real negative was they were serving Easter breakfast on paperplates, a mix of red solo, glass and Styrofoam cups along with plastic utensils. We were told the dishwasher was broke. The wait wasn't too bad however after ordering the fried shrimp I was informed the kitchen was out, after ordering a Pabst Blue... Ribbon, I was notified they were out of that as well, so I asked for a Blue Moon, they were out of it as well, I reluctantlyordered a Budwieser, full house salad and a loaded baked potato, only to receive a chef salad and they were out of sour creamso I ended up with a scoop of butter on my potato. My mom's chicken strips came out fine. Granted it wasn't the servers fault,she was sweet and hard working, but as it was my first time eating here, it will most likely be my last. I've been coming to this Cracker Barrel since I moved here about 15 years ago and this Cracker Barrel has always been... consistent, clean, fast, and delicious. I've never had a bad experience. Even this most recent time, you can tell they needhelp with staffing but everything still came out quickly. Our server was nice and friendly. Our food was delicious. I went forthe classic Uncle Herschel's with the chicken tenders and the tenders are different and it's a good thing. They taste handbreaded. This is an consistent and good Cracker Barrel. Read more
