I've been dining here for more years than I can remember and have never been disappointed - unless they were closed. Tonight... they were short staffed so service was a little slower than normal, but WOW did he (Fidel?) hustle as best as humanly possible -AND maintained a pleasant demeanor throughout! In truth, it only seemed slow compared to their normal, but after checking theclock we realized it was well within normal of most places. I?m not sure what the fuss is about. Probably the worst restaurant in town. The staff was fine, no trouble there but the food... quality is lacking the building is pretty run down. There is no air conditioning, the tortillas were stale, the cheese dip wasgood, but the salsa is just canned tomato sauce, and the worst part was the cockroaches. 2 in the bathroom and another by ourtable. I used to eat here regularly when I worked nearby. I ate lunch there this week and was very pleased other than the heavy salt in... the meat used in the burritos and enchiladas. I mentioned it to the proprietor when I payed my bill, but I am not sure if therewill be a response. Their style is comfort food Mexican. Their chips are really great, white corn served warm. I?ve eaten here once per week for about 6 weeks and it?s consistently been a below average experience. Short staffed and chaotic... about ordering and timeliness. There are better options. Food taste is good. Read more
Great food! There was a big group that came in right ahead of us. They got everyone's food out super quick. I timed it and from... the time I ordered to the time I got my food was right at just 20 minutes!! Great prices too! Read more
SOOOO GOOD!!! First of all, the chips and salsa were PERFECT. The chips were so thin and crisp and the salsa was blended (my... preference) and so flavorful! NOW I was a little bit difficult because I made my own order that wasn't on the menu, the waiterdidn't speak a ton of English, but he was patient with me to make sure we got it right! I ordered a California Burrito (westcost cravings kicking in) which is a burrito with steak,french fries, cheese, guac and sour cream). They made it and it wasperfect! I am extremely happy with the food and the service and will DEFINITELY be back!! -they were patient with me on my nexttime back as well! I am kind of weird and order things separately to make my own carne asada fries (since they don't have it onthe menu) and yum!! 10/10 Read more
Chips and salsa were amazing. I usually like chunky salsa over more blended salsa but the flavor was incredible that I didn't... mind. staff was extremely nice. We don't know much english but my wife tried to say a few things in Spanish during the meal andthe waiter seemed happy and enjoyed it. the food was really good. I got a beef supreme burrito. the guacamole on top was superfresh and flavorful. Great experience. We will be back! As I'm writing this I'm craving it. Can't wait to try something new nexttime!
