After deer hunting we stopped in for food . We could get breakfast or lunch . The place was pretty busy I ordered sausage gravy... and bisquet with 2 eggs and sausage. Service was good. Food was good. However, portions were a little meager and somewhat pricey. For a covered roast beef sandwich... and a small scoop of mashed potatoes, it could have come with perhaps a vegetable. Read more

I was in town for Antique Week and went to Quack's almost every day for the BEST breakfast ever! You can't go wrong with... anything on the breakfast menu, I even loved the toast! I went one night for dinner, they have specials, and got the pot roast.It was really delicious ???? What I really like the best, the staff is soooo friendly and attentive. The owner even cooks! Ifyou ever find yourself on Rt 20 in Madison, I highly recommend stopping in. If I was forced to find something wrong, it would bethe counter stools are too high for my short legs ???? Place used to be very goof but over the years thr food and staff have just gotten worse. Just think it's people not caring as... much about the quality of food there putting out. I know this place could make improvements. Why they get a 3 star ratting. Read more

It has been a year, and I finally have the courage to leave a review. This was hands down the WORST restaurant experience I have... had in my life. So bad, that it has become a running joke amongst my 3 friends and myself who ate their one Sunday morning lastAugust. We stayed in Bouckville for a concert the night before, and thought we would grab some local fare before heading home.First, coffee was cold. They said that?s how it came. Next, our eggs were? slimy. I will never forget the texture of these eggs.They were slick, thin, slimy, oily.. I don?t even know HOW they came to be that texture. Awful, nightmarish. And to top it off,service was terrible. We felt like outsiders, unwelcomed while simply trying to grab a bite before hitting the road. 0/10experience. 10/10 for new inside joke of how horrible the experience start to finish was. Read more

Just okay! ???? I probably will not go back. Servers were good but breakfast wasn't the greatest. I had a veggie omelet with... barely any cheese which made it seem dry. Not seasoned very well. It was $10.99 came with fresh fruit ( which was not ripe, Idid not eat bc it was too hard to chew) and choice of toast. I've had better meals there in the past. They also never told usthey had a breakfast buffet. I might of chosen that instead. ???? Read more

I brought a friend here to see try the diner my family would go to when I was a kid. The last time I was at Quacks was about 25... years ago. The scent walking in brought me right back to my childhood. It was a great evening, good food, excellent service. Ifyou like the old time diners this is a place worth checking out. Read more
