Although I miss the board games The Pub used to have, the new owner did a nice job remodeling this place to Prime Time Tavern.... It has a more finished feel and great steak. The environment is nice and not distracting. Read more

Not enough can be said about the job Todd and Primetime does. Great service every time, waitresses are attentive and easy going.... Prime rib is amazing on Friday and Saturday nights. Cheapest drinks in town, and the margaritas are delicious. You must come inif you are visiting Madison! Read more

I walked in with my girlfriend and we saw a sign that read "Please wait to be seated." We waited while two servers did and said... nothing. After a while, the bartender told us we could sit wherever we wanted. We went to a booth, but it was still dirty, so wechose a different spot. We waited for a while - two groups came in after us, who were helped immediately by one of the servers. It took about 40 minutes to get our food (two burgers, nothing more). The bartender was nice, but one server talked to herfriends instead of cleaning the dirty booth or helping us and the other watched from the back. The food was okay. Not great, but not bad. The 40 minute wait and watching the people who came in after us get served immediately and getting their foodbefore us was not okay. Read more

Was under whelmed to say the least. The food is super basic and lazily put together. The prime rib is edible but there is WAY... better out there. Don't expect anything special or many options at all either. The wedge of lettuce they called a salad waspretty interesting... won't be returning. This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go accross the street instead. Read more

Had a 12oz prime rib. It was excellent. Great service and pricing was good too. I'd go back again for sure.

While I understand Prime Time's goal of providing an affordable filet or prime rib dinner, I wish The Pub House's departure had... never left us with this disappointment of a restaurant. I visited on a weekday about a month after opening. On weekdays PrimeTime only serves two sizes of filet. (No other menu items) Otherwise my options were what kind of drink I wanted, and whether ornot I wanted toppings on my unnseasoned baked potato. When the salad arrived, I was surprised that I had to cut my own lettuce. The two slices of vegetables that complemented it did little to help. I would compare the salad to something that might beserved at a farmers market stall, to pet rabbits who needed some extra calories. When the filet arrived, the first thing Inoticed was that a single slice of bread, and a cute garnish was taking up 50% of my plate. Did Prime Time expect me to squeezesome orange juice on my steak? Why am I being served a slice of bread and a pad of butter like I'm in a cafeteria? The potatowas just extra calories, with no flavor or interest what-so-ever. But the filet is the star of the show after all, and when Iasked for medium, I found it raw in the middle. The filet was also wrapped in bacon, which may be a good thing to some, but abacon-wrapped filet is not necessary. A good filet does not need the enticement of bacon to stand on its own legs. But thereality is that the filet I had could not stand on its own legs anyway. The giant chunk of lettuce, the pathetic garnishes, thepotato, are all cheap attempts to make the steak "dinner" seem worth it. But when it comes down to it, it's not the uncookedsteak that has convinced me I'll never return to this restaurant again - it's because of the restaurant itself, and the poordecisions the owner has made. Prime Time is a gimmick. There is no creativity, no variety, no culture, and you get exactly whatyou pay for. I can't believe we went from the glorious full menu that the Pub House provided, to this c Read more
