had this while at the Willy street parade. 10/10 amazing. My bf and I drove back again for dinner just to have it. The rice and... beans are so flavorful. The Jamaican iced tea is BOMB. Definitely will be ordering through Mango man again !! Read more

Chef Mango Man, Thony Clarke deserves ALL of the praise. Support Black Owned companies, support this genius chef's culinary... creations, support the truth of a renowned local Madison Chef who has been SO generous and kind to ALL members of the community, since I met him in 2007. :) The food doesn't disappoint. Pick up his sauces at Willy St, go get some carry out, or hopefullywhen he opens his food truck back up, see him out and about at a local event. God Bless Mango Man! We're SO LUCKY to have you! I've loved this food since the first time I tried it. My family frequented the two physical locations and we grab something from... the food truck anytime we see it. This past year we've ordered the take-home family meals several times as well. The latinchicken is my favorite entree. The plantains are AMAZING and the sauce is to die for. Seriously, buy a bottle ... or four!Absolutely recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, love, love, love. Read more

Love their spicy tender wings and emanadas (the ones Ive tried so far). I also ordered their delicious Costa Rican coffee with... condensed milk over ice. So creamy and frothy! I eyed other dishes being served at othee tables. Everything looked fresh andmouth watering. The interior isnt bad at all. Kind of dark and out dated but atleast they keep it clean and neat. Chef Clarke(owner) was very friendly and attentive to all his customers. Definitely coming back! Read more

The food was fantastic - worth 5 stars. The decor is also great. The drinks were terrible though - $15 for two awful margaritas.... They didn't match the caliber of the rest of the restaurant (the mango margarita was extremely bitter) so I'm hoping it was justan off night for the bartender. Will probably revisit, but not in the near future. Read more

This was my first time ever trying Costan Rican cuisine, and I had a wonderful experience! The ambiance is nice, settled cozily... on the first floor of an older Willy Street home, and the food is to die for. I've heard that the chef here has quite a goodreputation in the city, and it shows. My meal was decorated fantastically and tasted even better. In short, I highly recommendCafe Costa Rica and can't wait to go back myself. Read more
