Wish we could rate the Caspian Grill higher than 5 stars!! Where to begin with describing our exceptional experience at this... wonderful restaurant? Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by one of the gracious owners, who provided us with such perfectservice throughout our dinner, and as first time customers, we loved the ambiance and coziness of the little restaurant as well!The wonderful menu sounded delectable, and had us immediately planning what we’ll order the next time we dine here! Thefood… WOWWWW… We ordered the Mix for Two, which was a feast for the senses - a gorgeous and colorful platter of fabulouslyflavored tender chicken and lamb kabobs, outstanding grilled vegetable kabobs, an absolutely wonderful rice, a salad that was sofresh and delightful with a perfectly subtle and delicious dressing, all atop two pitas - and the two sauces were alsooutstanding! Oh, and the pot of their delectable homemade tea was the perfect pairing with this fabulous meal as well as theheavenly (and almost too gorgeous to eat!!) honey cake and the baklava! We took photos but none of them would do justice to thismagical evening, so you will just have to come here and experience this beautiful restaurant yourself! Lastly, both of theowners were so very lovely to us and made our experience here one that we look forward to repeating many, many more times - werecently moved to Madison and can’t wait to return to this exceptional little gem and explore more of their Azerbaijanicuisine and hospitality! This was one of the best experiences I have a had in a long time. The person (didn’t catch his name) was so nice and polite,... very welcoming. Ordered the chicken breast kabob meal. So yummy and fresh. Also ordered a side of hummus, best hummus I everhad. 10/10 will recommend this place to everyone. Read more
The new Khinkali Georgia Dumplings are just astounding. This is my favorite restaurant (I’m from Chicago). And a former *very*... fat girl, current sorta fat girl. And that’s my new go-to order. But I will also get Chicken Pelmeni and Russian Salad andKabobs and all the other amazing foods. The owners and staff are some of the sweetest people, and it’s a family business thatknows what it’s doing. So worth my 2 hour drive to visit. Pic of the new Khinkali Dumplings, ???? Read more

Just had lunch here and everything was really great! The chicken thigh and lamb kofta kebab were both spectacular! Meat was... perfectly cooked on both, and the seasonings were delicious! I also tried the hot sauce, yoghurt sauce, and hummus and all wereincredibly good! I ate in and the gentleman that was serving was really nice, and the place is very clean! I want to give 1 star after my horrible experiences. But the food is SO GOOD, so I have to give it 2. *Did not give me my... fries or my rice with either meal. *I paid $1.50 extra for 3 sauces and they only sent one (which was nasty) *The cheesecakewas expired MORE THAN A YEAR AGO. -!—!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!-!—! So what I received for $30 was … 1 plate of food. 4 piecesof chicken and 4 pieces of beef (each 1.5 inch cube) Side salad OLD (not edible) cheesecake bar 1 yogurt sauce I’mirritated and wish I could dispute the charge. To top it off the owner is so rude, he screams and yells even when customers arein there. They’ve definitely lost my business. Read more
