They confiscated my ID card for a four dollar tab. I?m a repeat customer who has good credit here. I talk to the owner several... times and he?s very nice. But some of the other staff are rather rude. I am treated like a criminal at this establishment for afour dollar tab. I will never come back and I recommend La Penca. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. The food is so good? the type you want to close your eyes and savor it... all while you eat it. They are open later which is helpful. I get there pork taco dinner with cilantro and onions. Any placethat gives me limes without asking is my kind of place. Can?t wait to try more items. Love the service and the food. Read more

Ok if you guys have not been here for food, then you are missing out! I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, and my friend... and i got a booth by the window! The server we had was super sweet, and she was very efficient! My friend said the person whosat us has been working there since she was a baby -- so over 20 years! The food is amazing.
