Disappointing. The subs come warmed and as a result the bread is pasty and damp, the lettuce wilted. We found the subs pricey... compared to other similar shops and the overall quality so-so. Their prep time is quite long so be prepared to wait. Eh, notagain. Read more
This has got to be the slowest, worst service I have ever had at a firehouse subs. Waited forever, sauces are no longer out and... you need to ask for a very small sample sized container of it. Food was good but this is just a bad location, maybe it was anoff day for them but won't be back here anyway. Read more
I?ve tried calling in on multiple occasions on different days to place an order. Each time I?ve called I?ve been put on hold for... 10-15min without anyone picking back up. I will no longer be dining at Firehouse Subs in Fitchburg. Poor customer service at theforefront of this decision and review. Read more
The sandwiches were quite good and different than what you can get at other sub places. However, the service was very unfriendly... - the person taking the order made no eye contact, didn?t smile, and didn?t say thank you after completing the order. Really good subs, but a lot of the time the order is wrong or they forget an item. In store is mostly fine (except when they add... condiments after being asked not to), but pickup/delivery is usually missing an item. Chips, drinks, soup, pickle, or full sub,it's a toss up what they'll forget to provide. I've always gotten a refund, but it's made me not order nearly as much due to theconstant issues Read more
Absolutely terrible service. Ordered thru eatstreet for delivery. Received chips and soup but no sandwiches. Called and was told... to call eatstreet because they couldn't do anything about it. Called eatstreet and was told the sandwiches were canceled. Afterwaiting on hold for 30 min, I was advised there was nothing they could do. I would have to reorder and repay before I got arefund for the original $60. 2 hours later, we are all starving and still no food on the way. An $8 coupon was given. $8! I got an Italian, my usual favorite at other sub places (especially at Jersey Mike's or Jimmy Johns). Mine had a huge chunk of... ham and completely drowned out the taste of the salami/pepperoni: ended up being a glorified ham sub. When I saw it on the menuI questioned why Ham was included at all on an Italian, but figured it would NOT be 90% of the meat in the sandwich. I don'teven care for ham that much, good grief, definitely last time I'll order one of those there. I did get good service, and if youdon't wait too long to eat in the bread and everything besides the ham tastes fresh. It did get soggy once it sat for a while. Read more
