Very disappointed, too many places opening? Not enough qualified help? Confused in the front, slow and disorganized in the... back, tapas had many reoccurring themes, menu was mess, drink menu had no wine? But they had wine? Sat at the bar waited 30+to get a $10+ drink that was either barely drinkable or not what was ordered, unorganized and very slow. You couldn't tell whowas working there vs customers. Menu was optimistically priced, shocked by the $, based on the experience so far...waited again30min to order a drink, 30 min to get them.....food was good, lots of avacodoes. 3hrs+ to have tapas? So I have been to Fuegos twice now. First time was late on a Friday night and the food, service, and drinks were spectacular. I... was telling all of my friends to go to Fuegos. The only downside of that visit was that the hostess was rude and lookedgenuinely disappointed to have to seat a customer. Not a good first impression of the restaurant. I went to Fuegos yesterdayagain for 1/2 price tapas expecting the same quality and it was far from it. First of all, the same lady was at the front andhad the same poor attitude and service. She would barely even answer our questions about specials. The drinks were still goodbut the service was incredibly slow. The 6 tapas we ordered (after waiting for around 35 min to order) all came out at once,they were all cold, the guacamole tasted like it came from a bag at the grocery store, and we were pretty sure the meatballswere under cooked. The service and food was less than half the quality of the original time I visited and I would not have paideven half price for the food and service we received last night. Very disappointing if this is the way that they treat customerswho come in for 1/2 price tapas Tuesdays (which still ends up being $25 per person with a drink). Read more
Variety of Drinks ordered by the group had no flavour as expected. Were as good as drinking plain water with loads of ice.... Couple of vegetarian items in the main course and starter were nice and people who ordered non-vegetarian Menu could only have afew bites and wasted the most. Chicken breast had no flavour and was too dry and hard. Place was too cold where we were seated.Not worth $45 per person with so much food/drinks wasted. Read more
By far one of the best restaurants in Madison for people who enjoy the taste of authentic Hispanic food. With his dishes from... all over the Hispanic world, Spain, Mexico, Latin America in general and Brazil, this chef takes you in a gastronomic journeythrough some of the best food in the world. Fresh ingredients, great drinks and fantastic flavors all make for an experienceanyone in or visiting Madison should not miss. For dessert, the flan tastes not only authentic, but it is a delicacy that isvery hard to make with the skill and flavors Fuegos' chef puts in his. It is pricey, but you can have a great meal for under 70per person so not out of this world and well worth the cost. Read more
Great food, fantastic ownership, friendly staff and outstanding service. Can't say enough about this place! If you're conscious... about where your food comes from, Fuegos is the spot. They have a FULL vegan menu and use locally sourced and organicingredients. And, 1/2 off tapas (appetizers) on Tuesdays!! Read more
