Family had 3 different Burritos. All were really good. Maybe $1 or $2 more then we normally like to spend on Burritos compared... to other Mexican restaurants but I know inflation ????. Service was attentive brought more waters without asking. Chips andsalsa when seated were good. Salsa had a decent kick compared to other restaurants. It was nice to see instead of watered downsalsa. Amazing food. The ‘chicken chimichanga’ (attached picture is after a little picking) and ‘chicken burrito a la carte’... were ordered. Both delicious. You can get the chicken grilled or shredded; did shredded for chimichanga and grilled forburrito. Both were delicious and fitting to each item. Menu may read as though listed ingredients are stuffed inside of some ofthe items, but they’re on the side. They have a flavorful salsa that comes with their free chips, a tad thin in consistency, but really doesn’t matter, flavor over-ruled. You can also get a hotter salsa if you ask. Flavor of the hot is good, givesthe tongue a little zing at the end, I highly suggest it depending on your heat tolerance. Aside from the food, the service wasgreat. The gal that greeted us was super friendly, attentive, and or impatient. I WILL definitely go back; have already begunto spread the word to local friends. Read more

Stopped in our way through town in a road trip. It was early for dinner, 5pm, but we'd skipped lunch. We were seated immediately... and brought waters/offered drinks. We opted to stick with just water. No funky smell or taste from the water. (This is big forme.) We ordered rather quickly & the food didn't take long. Wowza, the guacamole was gorgeous & my burrito was the size of myarm! We were checked in with twice. They certainly weren't rushing us out the door. Once we stalled, thry brought us a box &flatware to take the over half left home. I appreciated the thought of flatware as we were on the road. I do wish I'd orderedtacos instead, which I skipped thinking just a burrito would be lighter than having sides. We dropped $50ttl, including tip.Good service & decent food at a fair price. Read more

One of my favorite Mexican spots in Madison, and certainly the best around the square. Their location on Butler keeps them... somewhat hidden and it seems it's never busy when I go for lunches. I'm a vegetarian, so I love their vegetable fajitas, quesadillas and tacos. So many places have very boring fajitas-- green pepper and onions or something. Not this place! It'sdifferent every time it seems but it's usually red/orange or yellow bell peppers, corn (this is key) , broccoli, zucchini, carrots, onions, mushrooms. They have a fantastic Salsa Verde too. My meat eating friends and family have all loved this placetoo. A small family owned business with a beautiful building and staff. Read more
