Food was normal. The Swedish crepes needed the butter and powder but I?d probably be done with my meal before getting any of... those. Don?t waste your time here. That 15 minute break at Dennys will sound like a steal if you decide to wait here. Staffseems overworked and always apologizing. Hope to see better management for this famous breakfast chain. Several of the severs seemed to be very effective in doing their jobs, unfortunately our server although being very friendly... ,was not as good at his job, my order was totally wrong, forgot some of my order, my wife ordered over easy eggs and they had noyoke I mentioned it to him, and he was eagerly willing to take care of it, but after waiting as long as we did for our meal, Iwasn't interested in it. He was a very nice person, but maybe not cut out for that particular job. Am pleased that he is tryingand applaud his efforts. Read more
You can always get a tasty breakfast at an IHOP. This one is no exception. Friendly service too. What's not to like?
Unfortunately I ordered Sirloin Tips & Eggs no mushrooms and definitely got mushrooms. ???? I usually wouldn't complain but it... was the service here that left me no choice. First thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how long I had to wait to beacknowledged upon arrival, being that the dining room was basically empty.. Secondly.. AFTER placing my order, at least 5minutes later (I specifically asked my waitress to ensure my order would have NO MUSHROOMS) it took her and extra 20 minutes toactual send it back to be cooked. Lastly... 45 minutes later when she brought my food, the waitress told me she made sure myorder had (NO MUSHROOMS) and sent me on my way. When I finally got home and opened my food, I was EXTREMELY disappointed when Iseen what other than MUSHROOMS. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Look at my pancakes.. My daughters and myself ate breakfast there a couple of days ago and the place was terrible. First, we ordered our drinks and... they were out of milk. Second the entire table including the condiments were all sticky, like they never been washed. Third whenthe waitress finally came to take our order, she never wrote anything down and just assumed what we wanted when there werechoices to be made. For example, if you want bacon or sausage, how you want your eggs, what type of fruit topping for thewaffles etc? Basically it was going to be a mystery meal. When our food finally arrived. I had bacon and I did say I don?t eatbacon and that the she never gave us a choice. She did bring me sausage. Our food was terrible. Everything was cold except thehash browns. The waitress never came back to see how it was or if we needed anything. We will not be returning unless somethingdrastically changes! Read more

My partner and I stopped in Madison on our way back home from vacation and we literally stopped at 3 other restaurants to try... and get some breakfast/brunch, but every single one had a line out the door! I mean, that's great for the local businesses, butwe were STARVING, so our last resort was IHOP. We were seated promptly and our waiter was very kind and did a wonderful jotaking care of us. My partner and I both ordered the Breakfast Sampler and it was delicious! I know IHOP is IHOP, but there aredefinitely good ones and bad ones. This location is a good one! The restaurant was clean, spacious and had a very niceatmosphere for the chain. If you're in Madison and just looking for a quick bite, give this one a shot. To Go order never ready when you go to pick it up. I?ve waited over 30min just to pick up my to go order that hasn?t even... started cooking when I arrive. Very unorganized, staff arguing over being able to find tickets for orders. You?re better offgoing to the one in Middleton- better/quicker service, organized, staff friendly. Read more
