Indisputably one of the most authentic and tasty Mexican restaurants in Madison. Their green mole is the bomb and I just ate the... best carnitas ever. Cooked perfectly- not greasy and accompanied by warm tortillas and fresh toppings. They serve a small bowlof freshly made chips ahead of your meal- freshest in the city and a reasonable serving you don't fill up on before your mealarrives. Our tacos were awesome, they have perfect tortillas too. We had a great server and they were v quick.
Unassuming little place in classic strip mall setting. It?s shabby interior but the food is worth it. Had solid margaritas,... tacos, and bunch of other items. The chips and salsa are very good - flavors are there. Great service. The little place quicklyfilled up with newbies like us as well as regulars - was sweet to hear the staff call the regulars by name and already knowtheir favorites.
