I love the old time atmosphere of the restaurant and how they haven?t changed any of that since they first started. However, it... is quite crowded and loud inside and although the line outside did move fast, you still do have to wait outside. The fries werevery good and the burger was pretty average. My first time there, and I got emotional. It's just old school, hometown, homemade goodness. I watched them make everything. No... heat and eat here. Amazing ambience as always and really good food! I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with cheese curds and they were just... bomb!! Place is crowded as always for the weekend brunch .. so plan accordingly ! You could never go wrong at Mickies withscrambler , pancakes or the shakes !! Read more
Food and service was fast. Patty melt and yanks (potatoes) tasted great, but the chocolate chip pancakes were only okay... according to the rest of the table. One of the orders of pancakes maybe had batter that wasn't mixed well, but the taste andtexture were really off. We didn't eat any of it, so the staff replaced it with an omelette for us super quick at no charge.Staff and speed were very impressive for how busy the place was. This was the first time we've eaten here and it did not disappoint. Our server Victoria gave us some great recommendations since... we had not eaten here before. Portions are large. My husband got the scrambler which he really enjoyed. I tried the deliciousbuttermilk pancakes and apple coffee cake. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. Read more
