Great staff, tasty coffee, no tips on cards???\n\nI work as a barista and like 1/3 of my income comes from card tips. Moka does... not allow this, so they are refusing to let customers give money to support the baristas like other cafes do. I will not bereturning until this policy changes and I can properly compensate the barista. Read more
My wife and I discovered Moka about 2 years ago and I\'m hard pressed to find a better coffee spot in Madison. We visit a few... times per week and the service is always fast, and friendly. If we\'re in a rush, we order online and they always have our drinkready for us. Read more
I went to the store for my morning coffee and talked to Stacy, she works at another location and was helping out - she... recommended I try the spicy oat milk Chai. I am not a fan of oatmilk but I figured I would give it a shot the next morning witha couple of edits. I am not sure who I was working with today (09/07/22) but we were able to combine the drink I wanted to trywith something I like. I\'m a regular and have yet to have a bad cup of coffee there. Parking lot tends to be pretty broken up so take it slow with you... car. Also, word to the wise: the street facing drive window normally takes much longer than the drive up window on thenon-street facing side. Read more
Look no further for a quick and friendly coffee run! It can get quite busy, but they are efficient. Pretty much any beverage can... be made vegan, but unfortunately there really are no food items I can eat here. Service is always impeccable. If the line gets abacked up, you can expect someone will come out and take your order with a smile! Read more
For the price range, as disappointing as starbucks! Not much taste, less kick and mellow. Long waiting time and not mocha rather... latte kind drinks even though I ordered mocha. Will stick to dunkin who has much better quality coffee overall at a cheaperprice. Read more
I was a big fan of Moka when we first discovered them. We just moved to Madison , driving near west town mall and saw are first... Moks\'s.\nOver the last three years I\'ve become more disappointed. I stop today at the Moka on 2910 E Washington Ave.\nGotwhat we always get hot Chi lattes with oat milk, extra spices extra hot.\nThe extra large one has a shot of Expresso coffee init\nThen large one has no Expresso in it. I leave the drive thru. half way home start to drink mine and it tasted funny.\nI gethome tack of the lid and it smells like it has some kind of cleaner in it.\nI\'m done with Moka and will never go back. You can\'t walk in, you are being shooed outside. So it is a drive-through.\nI got a Jamaican red eye, Jamaican supposed to be... medium roast, and that would be good, however, it came out slightly flavoured: I don\'t like nor did I want a flavoured coffee.The coffees are pre-made and stored in thermoses so, I think, a flavour was a residue from some previous flavoured brew. Thecontainers should be designated for flavoured and non-flavoured, so that those are not mixed: a basic. Seems that the place isdedicated to making various flavoured coffee drinks, but not pure coffee/esspressos offerings. It\'s not me. Read more
