Decent Japanese cuisine restaurant to get Ramen. I liked the ambiance of the place, peaceful and calm. Ample seating and good... service. It?s kind of hard to spot the restaurant from the road, you have to look for the sign on the door. The ramen was goodcompared to most places I had. If you like spicy food ask for the spicy bomb. I liked the fact that they had a good choice offood for vegans and vegetarians. Read more

Stopped in for dinner while visiting from out of town. Fast Casual Ramen shop with good food and friendly employees. The door... isn't clearly marked, but the atmosphere inside was fine (other reviewers complained about lighting, not sure why). Ordered theSpicy Ramen which was delicious. The meat was so tender you could cut it with your spoon. The meat in the Bao was lacking inflavor, and the fries were a bit under cooked and small size. Even with those 2 issues, I'd go back for the Ramen anytime inMadison. Read more

Solid place with great menu options. Expected the rice bowl and buns to be a bit more flavorful than they were, but still a... restaurant worth checking out! Read more

The ramen here was good but I personally wasn?t a fan because they leave the fat(?) in the broth and overall it just left a... weird aftertaste for me. The donburi and chicken wings were good though! Read more

Despite the numerous glowing recommendations from friends, I did not go here the years that I was a resident. Being back in town... for the holidays though, the aforementioned friends wanted to meet here for a meal. The restaurant has a great vibe. You enterthrough an understated entrance and step into a beautiful, aromatic establishment. Our group of six was seated at the one tablenear the entrance, with the rest of the seating being at the bar or at the long bench and tables along the wall. You order atthe counter and take a number for your food to be brought to you. Their menu offers a range of buns, ramen and donburi, as wellas an extensive drink menu. My wife enjoyed her sake and I was happily surprised with the mule I ordered. As for the food, theramen was good but it turns out I?m not super into ramen. Can?t hold that against the restaurant as I would have loved somedonburi. It was a really wonderful meal and the host went above and beyond to take our photo. They stood on a bench and held thephone real high. Read more

Fantastic but hard to find and closes early. Look for sign on door in a recessed doorway. Missed it my first night in town but... it was closed too. Locals love it, lots of carry-out activity inside. Great draft beer selection too besides all the Japanesespecialties. What to order? The place is called Morris Ramen, so you can?t go wrong ordering, what else, Morris Ramen! Read more

The ramen was delicious! We almost walked by the restaurant since it isn?t marked on the outside, and I?m so glad we didn?t miss... it. The space itself is small and cozy. You order with a staff member at the bar and they give you a number for a server tobring out food. We had beef and pork buns which were great. Hoping to go back and try their kimchi next time. The Morris Ramenwas a simple dish that brought a lot of depth of flavor. Notable hygiene piece was that chopsticks and soup spoons are at thetables, unwrapped. Otherwise we had a great time. Service was very quick and staff was friendly. Read more
