Authentic homestyle korean cooking. The menu isn't the most grand but the owners will always be there to put a smile on your... face. Kimbop/Galbi-tang is my go-to. Also make sure to get their potato bonchon which is truly out of this world for potatolovers. Read more

It was a cold and snowy evening. I found this place on Yelp and came by for dinner after a long work day. It was quiet on a... Tuesday evening. There was only 2 other customer at the time. I ordered bibimbap in a stone bowl. The food was good andauthentic. There were also 2 side dishes, also decent. They didn?t charge me for the green tea ???? Read more

Consistently good food at a fair price. A go-to option for Korean that we've visited many times. Dining room is tiny and service... can be a challenge when they get busy, but good food is worth accepting some reduction in atmosphere and service. Read more

I grew up eating korean Bbq almost 3 or 4 times a week. Having missed out on true korean food moving to madison I was very... excited to get some Kalbi finally. I did, prices were as expected for the midwest. It was pretty good, I was impressed. Manyplaces absolutely butcher Kalbi (no pun intended). But I?ve came back twice and had what I expected to be Delicious Chapchaeover rice, was extremely bland noodles with beef over rice. It?s so sad to see such a beautiful dish totally ruined by a lack ofany discernible flavor. Same goes for the beef bokum, so much potential, and so much disappointment. In summary, Kalbi wasgreat. Everything else, not so much. Read more

This review is based on my memory more than 10 years ago while New Seoul was still located along Old University Ave. It was my... first Korean restaurant experience after a ski day in 2004. Every dish was delicious and perfect for the cold winter day. Sincethen, I stopped by regularly as being a graduate student. Overall all the memory was positive and I am happy the place is stillaround in 2022. One star off is because the food selection/ authenticity is not the best compared to other Korean restaurantsout of the Madison area. Read more

Great food! Great service as well. We had seaweed wrapped appetizers, dumplings and a heated bowl with a fried egg and pork and... many vegetables. Read more

Been there a couple of times. My daughter and I really enjoy the food. Ample serving sizes, served fresh and piping hot.
