Not sure they know what they want to be...brew pub, beer bar or New Orleans vibe restaurant. Seemed more like a typical beer... bar. Beer is okay but most of their selection is out...several Abita beers on tap. Didn't eat there as it didn't seem clean(fits in to the New Orleans vibe). Prices were reasonable. Food was great but we waited 1 hour just for an appetizer and 30 more minutes for our entrées all while watching everyone else... be served. My husband felt it might be race related as we were the only black people and seemingly the only ones having thisissue. Not sure though. The food was good. Read more
I don't know how much food they give in the restaurant, but the to go portions are horribly small. The photo here shows the... "large" portion of the jambalaya and etouffee. I would expect at least two meals out of a large, but this only served one. Whenwe called in to see why they were this size the staff said they had recently reduced their take out size containers to keep inheat. Read more

Came in for lunch on Tuesday. Was greeted by the bartender. Had the cheesecurds for an appetizer. The texture was awesome, but... the sprinkling of seasoning on the batter after they were deep-fried wasn't super flavorful. The batter could use somethingelse. The beer cheese soup was good. The pork stew was good. The crab enchiladas were amazing. Not too spicy. The stuffedchicken breast was good. The Chipotle Alfredo was tasty. The visual presentations of the food was beautiful. The server wasfriendly and attentive although he didn't know they menu super well. Next time I come, I'm trying all the desserts. Thebartender wished us well on the way out. Will be back soon. Nobody gets 5 stars Perfection is impossible but if you like flavor in your food and appreciate Cajun cuisine I would suggest... it, ask for the smoked sea salt and cajun garlic seasoning, Brings it to the next level. their gumbo of the day rocks, goodlocation, good food, good people and good beer, what more would you want? give it a shot, tell them the mower man sent you...They might even sell you a jar of that smoked sea salt to take home if you behave and ask nicely.... Tasty food with unexpected presentation- we wish we had started coming here months ago. They were short staffed on our visit so... we ordered at the bar but the food was delivered to our table quickly and we enjoyed every bite. Read more
