I can get Chicago and Milwaukee quality chicken shawarma right in Madison?! I’m just glad this place is a decent drive from my... house because I’d be eating this for every meal everyday if I lived next to Petra. Everything I’ve tried here has beengreat, but man oh man the chicken shawarma with the fries and side of garlic sauce to dip in hits the spot like no other foodcan. Don’t delay trying this place. They blow Banzo, Naf Naf, or Med Cafe out of the water and it’s not even a closecompetition. This is legit, delicious, authentic, arab food. Take it to go or eat there, it’s gonna be amazing. Absolutely AMAZING! these folx were especially nice during Our first (& so far, only) Visit (though we will DEFINITELY be... returning!)! They kindly helped us place a to-go order about Thirty minutes before close (even though they were UnderstandablyShort-Staffed due to pandemic crud). In addition to the INCREDIBLE CHICKEN SHAWARMA SANDWICH (combo!) that we enjoyed, we alsoLoved one spinach + one muhammara pie! Along w/some YUMMY biscotti\'s (coconut, black sesame & *surprise* ~ we\'re still havingfun guessing That Flavor)! + they Awesomely offered BEST TURKISH DELIGHT ***EVER***!!!!!!! My husband and I have had countless falafel sandwiches, but the falafel pita I had today at Petra is now top of my list! Any... future falafel sandwich will now be compared to this one. My husband got the falafel wrap and he loved his as well. The pitatopped hummus was also amazing and the fries were crispy! Will definitely be coming back the next time we\'re in Madison!???????????
