Great Pizza, HORRIBLE service!! It pains me to write this. As a former Pit employee, I often suggest it to others to try. It?s... still some of the best pizza in town after 30 years. I still feel this way but would encourage all to avoid this Atlas Ct /Dream Lanes location. This is my only review of a restaurant ever so please know I?m not usually inspired to gripe or complaineasily. I have seen it all having worked for Pit for over 10 years in the past. It was ultimately sold to Pizza Extreme with afew store exceptions that remained privately owned. The Dream Lanes location was one of these. The original owner knew thebusiness having been a long time manager and the Dream Lanes location remained a genuine ?Pizza Pit? pizza with goodservice. New owners and management have proven unreceptive to valid concerns that were brought to their attention. These wereexpressed or reported by recent customers. Concerns included possible pest issues the store should be aware of and withholdingcontact information for the owners when requested. Information was ultimately shared. The person who took the call expressed hewas the manager and he could help. After insisting multiple times that our only intent was to reach the owner, the ?manager?finally revealed himself to be a part-owner. He was deceptive in his claims, refused to offer me his last name when requestedand disinterested in helping from the start. I know we all have rough days and no one can be jovial or nice ALL the time. Thatsaid, as an owner of a business, I understand the importance of cordiality and etiquette. The smallest level of concern orinterest shown towards a legitimate and valid customer concern (even if it were faked) can make a huge difference. This was afirst time customer who had the concerns. This should be info available to that manager who could?ve seen in their system thatthis customer had only ever ordered ONE time. Love the Chain Hate the Location. Wait 20 mins for a cold pizza and the people on the phone played hold games then hung up in... mid complaint wanted my money back and they wouldnt even respond on why the wouldnt. Now cold pizza and out 23bucks.... Aftering being contacted and asked what location it is clear that is nothing more then an auto response only furthershowing the lack of any real responsibility but fine the location is 13 Atlas Ct, Madison, WI 53714 and I'm pretty sure it was apremade pizza they just needed to get rid of it was no where near fresh. Ordered last night. The driver basically insulted my disabled mother because she's poor and can't afford to give tips. She had... ordered from them earlier yesterday afternoon. I'm a delivery driver too, and I even get mad when people don't tip. I don'tinsult them to their face saying 'I close my eyes when I deliver here.' Guys like him make me not want to tip anyone. As an experienced waitress, bartender, manager of hospitality ranging from fast food to fine dining, I'm extremely disappointed... with the experience that my fiance & experienced recently. I think he & I would rather eat dog food than order a meatball subwhere the bread was extremely soggy that matches perfectly with their side dish called spinach & slop...I don't even think pigswould eat this, yuck???? I probably order pizza from here once a week. Food is consistently delicious and they follow my special instructions. (I prefer... square cut pizza) All the staff I've encountered is great too. Highly recommend Read more
I placed an order for carry out on 02/20/20. When I got home my breadsticks and my pizza were burnt. I called the store to see... if they'd deliver a new order of breadsticks since the kids were too hungry to wait for a new pizza. I spoke to the manager andwas a little irritated, but asked politely if they could deliver a new order of breadsticks. He must've gotten irritated becausehe put me on hold without saying anything. I was in the middle of saying "'hello" when one of the works apologized and said mybreadsticks would be delivered shortly. Horrible terrible ???????? the gyro is so disgusting no flavor at all this has been going on for years from the looks of it an... the other reviews like I think maybe you all should either take it off the menu or hire a new cook. Read more
