The BEST sushi place I have ever been into. If you haven?t had any sushi before, this is the place to try it out. We had the... super volcano on the left and mermaid on the right. Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! First time visiting this location and previously... visited their former location years ago. Walked in on a Sunday night and glad to have been seated at the sushi line. Definitelylove the vibe and service. Sushi is pretty good. Hope to visit again when I am in town. Read more
Service is wonderful! Was worried because 6 tables were sat the the same time as us and we needed to make the show, but... everything came out in a very timely manner. Sushi is fresh and delicious! Highly recommend, even if you're full, splurge on thesorbet-you won't regret it! Read more
The best sushi place in town. Good place for date night. Good ambience with red color interior theme. Friday nights are busy.... Recommended reservation. Chef's and waitress were friendly. Red signature roll is amazing. Mini explosion happening in ourmouth for every bite. Ingredients were fresh. Food presentation is appetizing. If Someone wants to see the preparation and talkwith chefs, then ask for chef's table. Waitress was friendly, and service was great. Window side, winter night, sangria andsushi - one of the best combo. Outdoor seating available. Main Entrance is inside a building whose entrance faces southeast.Wheel chair accessible. Gorgeous interior with great food and drinks! There is a great patio for outdoor dining as well. The waitstaff are all... incredibly nice and helpful. This was our first time at Red and we'll definitely be returning! The cocktails were impressive anddelicious, and all with the sake and/or Japanese whiskeys did a great job with balancing the flavors while maintaining theJapanese focus. Very, very good. The sushi rolls were quite experimental and delightful - this is sushi I don't believe I'd findanywhere else in Madison, especially with the seasonal rolls! Tons of creative options that are all well balanced, delicious,and presented beautifully. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The hostesses also gave us the option to sitoutside if we wanted. My fiance and I ordered five rolls since we wanted to try many of the flavors, and our waitress divided upthe order so they wouldn't crowd the table. Incredibly considerate and thoughtful. Came in for happy hour and still managed to spend a good amount of money ???? Great rolls, good service, and delicious drinks.... The cauliflower was surprisingly the best part of the meal. Also subbed my rice for forbidden rice on a roll, which wasdelicious but messy. Read more
