I travel all over the world for work and this place has some of the BEST curry I?ve ever had. It is beyond ridiculous. They also... have incredibly inexpensive cocktails, $6.95 for a delicious Tanqueray martini? YES PLEASE. I haven?t had one bad menu withdelivery OR in the restaurant yet, and I doubt I will. The service is amazing, it?s nice and quiet, super clean & well puttogether. Can?t wait to find a reason to visit Madison again so I can explore and enjoy more menu items. Read more

This was the worst dining experience we've had in Madison. The smell of the restaurant was musty, but that didn't dissuade us... because we wanted Thai food and we wanted to eat in (we would normally have Thai Basil). We ordered appetizers (pictured) andthey were okay, not great... but my niece ordered larb chicken and it was delivered with a spoon that smelled of mildew so badthat it made all of us gag. The waitress didn't seem to care but offered to replace the meal with another, but our appetite waslost. If you are craving Thai DO NOT GO HERE!! We spent $60 on food we couldn't eat. Wish we had taken pictures of the entreesbut it was down hill after that, so it slipped my mind. Be warned. Read more
Gotten take out here a couple times but recently dined in for the first time and this place is so cute. The service was amazing... and really quick. All time best menu items are the chicken egg roll, the number 42 (I get mine spice level 2 of 4) and thecucumber salad. Also got the pad Thai which was good but the 42 was way better. Had some left overs that reheated great and willdefinitely be back! Read more
Food: 5, Environment: 4, Service: 4 You can tell the people who cook for you actually care. My husband and I ordered an... appetizer, an entre (curry) and a dessert. The amount was perfect for us. So if you don't want leftover I would recommendsharing so you get to eat a good amount (not too much) of each dish. I had heard quite a few people saying how delicious Sa BaiThong's food was. So even though I cook Thai dishes at home quite often, I still gave it a try. I ordered something I don't makeat home (or just yet): papaya salad (level 4 spicy), massaman curry (level 3 spicy), and ended my meal with a dessert: stickyrice with coconut custard. Salad was good: the saltiness of the fish sauce and the crunch/freshness of the papaya made me wantto eat more... It did it's job being a decent appetizer. Then it came the massaman curry, which was addictive. The chickendidn't add much to the dish, because the curry itself was so flavorful, the rich coconut cream with all the spices you want,with potato and apple just blended in so well.. I've been here twice. Last year, it was fabulous. The service was great, the food was great, and I would have highly recommended... it. This time, they were out of the two most popular appetizers and we weren't told until after we had ordered drinks. In under5 minutes of looking at their lengthy menu, we were asked 4 times if we were ready to order yet even though we were one of twotables in the restaurant that was occupied. The food was great. So this is not about that. It Is to let people know that restaurants are struggling right now with staffing... and I'm pretty sure it's not their fault because waiting tables doesn't pay a lot.
