We saw an announcement there was a new lounge and restaurant. Arriving we realized it was part of a hotel, but gave it a shot.... It was a nice lounge, but a bit of hotel noise. We ordered two old fashions which we decent, however when we got the bill it wasalmost $30 for two drinks and a the tip. My husband and I played date night roulette and ended up here for Valentines day. It did not disappoint! The rules: we had to... ask the waitor their 2 favorite dishes and order them. Austin was spot on with these choices! The steak was incredible! One ofour new favorite places. We will be back. Update: we took our Buffalo and Blue cheese chips home, kept them in the fridge forover 24 hours, threw then in the airfryer on high for 5 minutes and they were fantastic! Read more
Probably the best cheese curds I have ever had but the worst burger I've ever had. It was disgusting. You can get better burgers... at Culver's down the street. Do not get baited by the 5 star reviews for this place. Serves were very nice and I enjoyed theatmosphere, the entree food is nothing to write home about. Read more

Mitchell and his team of service providers at Tailwinds have always provided a great experience for us. The food is prepared... with care and has exceeded my expectations during every visit. I have been traveling to Madison the last few months and been staying in hotels while traveling. I recently stayed at the... Doubletree by Hilton Madison East and was overwhelming surprised by the quality of the restaurant (Tailwinds). They have agreat menu, but more than that Mitchell has created an environment of amazing service. He has taken specific requests, even ifnot on the menu, and if possible made those dishes for me. I have the choice to stay at any of several hotels in Madison andbecause of Tailwinds I now choose to stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Madison East where you will often find me in the corner bythe fireplace eating incredible food and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. If you visit, introduce yourself to Mitchell, hewill definitely make sure you are a satisfied customer. Read more
