Excellent Staff and a large variety of Great food to choose from. Cozy atmosphere when you want to dine in or easy ordering... online with any of the online ordering services including the one I used was the restaurant's own website:takarajimasushiwi.com. I have already ordered many times in the past week and each time was delicious in its own right. The fishwas fresh and tasty. Realistically, 3.5 stars. The menu is expansive and encompasses all tastes hot and cold if you are not in the mood for sushi.... The staff is following current Covid protocols set in place in Dane County. Our party of 5 placed an order for pickup at 6, andby 7:30, we had placed a second order as the verdict was still out. Our original order included Negi, Hamatchi and Toro Negihand rolls along with a Yaki Udon. The hand rolls were some of the best that we all have tried. Well filled, great fresh fish.The second order we placed that evening was to try a couple more hand rolls and pickup a sashimi platter. We were a littleunderwhelmed by the sashimi platter with the addition of imitation crab as one of options. This left a little to be desired butwas quickly washed away by the buttery taste of the tuna belly. We ordered 4 hand rolls the second time around, and turns out weonly got one hand roll with the remainder being regular cylindrical rolls. All the miso and salads and other sides we receivedwere on point and now we digest! I have extremely high hopes and wish the very best for Takarajima and plan to visit againsoon. It looks like just a couple of early opening hiccups, but we would order from again and would suggest all those in thearea to give it a try as well! Read more

Great food and friendly staff. The puppy love, and full moon sushi were our favorites. The fried calamari was a small portion,... but pretty good. The fried banana was also good. If you've never had a japanese soda definitely try one. Read more
