Elizabeth and Eleanor were the two best servers I have experienced since my trip to Madison. The manager, I think Miguel, was... the most RUDE customer facing employee I?ve experienced in ages. Didn?t want to seat us because of a party, so we sat withElizabeth who was EXEMPLARY! How gross to see someone in power with such a gross attitude, with employees who go above andbeyond the call of duty to make sure their customers are satisfied. This would have been 5 perfect stars if I had notexperienced what I did with management. Why is someone like this running a restaurant?! I believe this restaurant advertised itself as serving traditional Italian cuisine. Well, it was none of that. What I ended up... eating was overcooked vermicelli covered by some kind of factory-produced red sauce, all made more or less inaccessible by athick layer of flavour-less mozzarella. Autumn was amazing!!!! Was just there with my husband and I've never had better service. She made sure everything came out nice... and quick and HOT, and she remembered my specifications even though they are normally forgotten or intentionally ignored. Thetiramisu was amazing. This place is not what it used to be. The service and the quality of the food was awful. We waited over 20 min for a table even... though the restaurant was basically empty, Only 2 tables were being used at the moment. The waiter was nice but I don?t thinkhe knew what he was doing. He brought our drinks and one of the glasses was broken we had water all over our table and hedidn?t even bother giving us a napkin to clean it up. All our drinks were watered down. We had no napkins or silverware we hadto constantly ask for things he kept forgetting. He barely checked on us to see if we needed anything. The waiters and cooksseemed more busy having conversations with each other. The food was a HUGE disappointment it was bland and oily. Plate was hotbut the food was cold most likely due to them microwaving the food. For $140 I could have gotten better service at McDonalds. Read more
We stopped in while walking around State Street. Enjoyed the food and wine and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. I had the... Fettuccine di Scampi.... the butter sauce and shrimp were quite good. My wife had the Capellini Susie.... it was delicious! Read more
My most favorite place to eat in Madison! The manager always comes and greets me, very friendly as well as the staff. As busy as... the manager seemed he still remembered me only my second time there, and was very friendly to all the customers. The food wasamazing I got the lasagna, and the bread before is delicious. I was given a slice of cake on birthday which was also amazing,they even put a candle on it! I seriously love this place so much. As close as the sitting area was to each another table, I?vegone there with friends and family and it did not once bother me or the people next to us how close we were, don?t come here ifyou?re gonna be loud and obnoxious though. Great place to eat, have a chill afternoon/evening, I saw a student working as wellas a man doing business there. Would recommend this place to anyone! Read more
Ok where do I start. When you walk in you can instantly see this place has really gone down hill. There were flies flying around... the booths and the table and chairs were dirty. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken. The server forgot my chickenand when she brought it it was obviously microwaved. Tasted really doughy and it was in a Pool of oil and water. The pasta cameon a dirty plate with a tomato sauce stained on the bottom. The pasta was undercooked and almost crunchy. Some of the employeeswere just sitting in a booth talking and they would go behind the bar once in a while to grab a drink. There were stains of thistomato sauce on everything including the menu and cups. The booth couch chairs had a broken spring and in need of repair.Extremely bad experience, DO NOT COME HERE Read more
This place is killer!! The bartender/ owner was great, super funny and attentive and the food... perfect!! I had crab legs and... they were so good!! Also, the chocolate martini made me happy. Highly recommended!! Read more
