Stopped in for lunch as we were passing through Madison. We had to charge our car and decided to give Wahlburgers inside the... Hyvee a try. Torrence was the first to approach us to explain how to order. He was fantastic to talk to and was very friendly! And he was so funny? we had a rough weekend and he sure brightened our day. We ordered a couple of delicious Juicy Lucys and aStreet corn salad with a side of OMG tasty egg rolls. The sweet potato tater tots and chili were delicious sides! Later Ianapproached our table to see how we were doing. We thanked him for all the tastiness as he was working the kitchen. He also wasextremely friendly and outgoing. Would definitely refer the restaurant to anyone looking for some tasty bites and greatatmosphere created by some awesome people! Read more
We decided to try it out, regardless of the poor reviews, because it was convenient, and they have free kids meals this month. ... But I wanted to add a review since our overall experience was great. Honestly, the food is not 5*. Burgers were good, but notawesome. Fries were well cooked and a good size serving, but just basic, no interesting flavor. The sweet potato tots were aninteresting variation. My kids enjoyed the Grilled Cheese (and it was much larger than most grilled cheese kid's meals). Thechicken tenders were fine and well cooked, but not the most flavorful. But I'm giving 5 stars because the customer service wasactually really awesome! Torrance (probably spelled that wrong) took our order and answered our questions. He was friendly andsuper helpful. Because of the reviews I was expecting it to be slow, so we went to do a few minutes of grocery shopping whilewaiting; he actually came into the grocery store to look for us and let us know our food was ready after about 10 minutes! Heand another super nice employee (didn't catch his name) both checked on us and went above and beyond to fill requests. (I lovedthe pickles on the burger and asked for more and he brought me 2 containers, plus to go box options for our leftovers.) Sinceit's more of a fast casual concept, I wasn't expecting them to check in at all after dropping off our food, so I was impressed. Read more
This place is setup kind of weird. You order your food in the Hyvee part and then wait for it in the Wahlburgers part. Service... was slow and they seemed understaffed. The vegas location was better. Read more
I see plenty of bad reviews, but I ended up here today while waiting for my car to be fixed nearby. I have to say, pretty much... everything was great! The cashier was very nice and made sure they had what we were asking for right away, the chef, Ian, wassuper kind and made sure we liked the food when he brought it out, the busser was sweet and attentive, and the food was actuallypretty nice! The chicken was moist and seasoned well, sauce was tasty, and portion size was very good! The only reason I amgiving 4 instead of 5 stars is because many of the tables that said they were clean still had crumbs or a little gunk on them,but nothing crazy dirty. Overall, a good experience! Great food and service, ambiance could be better. We went around 5pm on a Friday night. The ambiance wasn't stellar, but the... staff was friendly and the food was great. I thought their cheese curds and sauce were especially good as well as the tatortots. The kids meal chicken fingers were adult-sized and delicious. I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Wow what a tragedy!! They have no idea what they are doing! I?m speechless, a kindergartner could run this place better. We were... sitting here waiting for our food that our server awkwardly turned into kitchen over 20 mins before and she literally came backand asked us to pay and we haven?t even got our appetizer yet. What?!?! Who pays at a restaurant before the food isdelivered?.Server keeps complaining about being in pain and the bartender is lounging and talking sports with the only two otherpatrons in the place and ignoring her complaining. Madison Wahlburgers is a complete failure! Really! No one knows what they aredoin and they are fighting w each other. The waitress has obviously never waitressed before and the bartender doesn?t seemanymore competent. Recently gave this place a shot due to its convenient location, but many of the previous reviews still stand. Gross sticky... floors every step of the way was the immediate turn off. One entree missed from the order. Overpriced, mediocre tasting food. Read more
