Aloha reader! This 5 star review is specifically for the Sheetz Employee CRYSTAL! I have no problem admitting my Twin and I... have been living and traveling in our van for about 4 years now, and for the last MONTH or so we have been in the area andstopped by THIS SHEETZ EVERYDAY anywhere between 3am and 6 or 7am and in that time it has come to both our attention that of ALLthe staff that works during and before the times we come in, CRYSTAL is the ONLY one who NOTICIBLY cares about the cleanlinessand presentibility of the store, holy wow! Today specifically I walked in and saw, smelled, and felt the clean in the storeproper. As I walked toward the restroom, I thought to myself, "Crystal has to be on duty" and there she was, making it niceagain! I Thanked her and her noticable awesomeness in person and verified she's the only Crystal working there atpresent. Crystal has been the one employee who is always happy to greet us and happy to wish us a good day as we depart! She'salways ready to smile or already smiling and unabashed to answer questions. She is attentive to the checkout counter while alsore-showrooming the items on the shelf and such! I am not sure who manages this store but if it's not Crystal, I think sheshould be considered (if she wants it) because operating a good convenience store is about more than just good food andreasonably priced gas.... Customers shouldn't be able to tell when a specific employee is on duty because that employee is theonly one that cares about the quality of clean (which I would give 2 stars for the rest of the employees and their idea ofkeeping the store and bathrooms tidy.... and side note-- were we mistaken, or did a few employees follow us into the bathroomthe other days to see if we were the messy ones? rather than just leading by example with keeping clean restrooms? WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE>>Madeline the reported mgr is the rudest person I have ever met in my life in a business situation. At 5... am on the way out of town to go on vaca, didn't have a phone charger. I purchased a phone charger w/ her standing at theregister, I elected to have my receipt emailed to me. Within 3 mins, I walk back in and tell her I accidently chose a wrongcharger. She refused to allow me to change it out stating the top of box had a tiny tear in it. Initially I thought she wasjoking b/c she was laughing. Then I realized she was serious and I was so shocked. I went to a Sheetz 20 miles away and went indid not tell them anything except that I chose wrong charger and they allowed me to change the product. Read more

Extremely poor customer service. Ordered a Chef Salad but was missing the meat. Went inside and told the cashier that it was... missing the meat. I was immediately told I was wrong and basically attacked by the one making the food in the back. She wasyelling across the counter for the entire store to hear which was beyond unprofessional. The app needs to be further reviewed ifselecting chef salad doesn?t include meat or the staff needs to be retrained on what is included with salads. And the priceneeds to be fixed because the option for no meat is cheaper than the chef option on the menu/app. (Madison Heights Sheetz) Read more

Went to Sheetz and ordered my usual ham sub and got home get ready to eat my sub and there was a Fly in sub. I have never had an... bad experience with sheetz until today. They have completely lost my business. Ruined my appetite ???????? Read more

This is the third time we have been there to order food or milkshakes. Each time we have had to wait at least 30 minutes.... Ordered 2 shakes tonight. Waited 35 minutes and watched as people come in after me and ordered food got there food before myshakes. They did not go by number order. My order number was 667. They were calling finished orders in the 700 numbers beforeme. I hate to say it but we will be going to Lynchburg sheetz more often Read more

I was yelled at by a cashier accusing me of trying to steal food that he had just checked me out for at the register. I figured... maybe the card didn't go through and he was just being unnecessarily rude. So I went back and he said he forgot to ring up myfood. I was in a rush, so I just paid again and left. I checked my bank account the next day and he double charged me foreverything. So I was accused of stealing and basically forced to pay twice. I contacted corporate and have yet to hear back. So, I'm not normally one to leave a negative review, but since no one at the location wanted to answer the phone to help, here... we are. I frequent this location often, because it's the only one in the area for a good while. I certainly enjoy Sheetz fooditems, because their deli is usually top tier, however, that is at the other locations in the Lynchburg area. Now, the reasonI'm leaving this is simply due to the food at the Madison Heights location. The deli, to be more specific. I have had a few ofmy previous orders incorrect, either missing things I wanted on the sandwich, or things just all around giving my order tosomeone else. This time however, really got me. I eat on the go, so I usually order on the app, and do curbside unless I havetime to come in and get it. This time, curbside, because I'm on my way to work. It took me 5 minutes to get to the store,checked in, and my food was out a minute later. Get my food, get down the road, open the bag, and find out that my breakfast subI ordered not only was missing half the sausage I ordered, but the egg was still cold, as well as the sausage that was on thesandwich. How? How do you send out a cold egg and sausage sandwich? I'm just going to go to the other locations from now on,because I'm no longer paying for something to continuously be wrong.
