The fish are almost as small as the hush puppies and the baked potato is the length of a salad fork.
I ordered jalapeno poppers, cracklings and a gallon of sweet tea. The lady whose name was heather was rude the entire time. We... were told they were out of cracklings after we ordered. An employee came about 5 mins after we ordered and asked for them tomake her some cracklings to eat because she was hungry, they proceeded to give that employee the cracklings that they said theywere out of, right in front of us. Still insisting they were out. Our jalapeno poppers were cold. There was a young child underthe age of 10 going in and out of the kitchen. The whole experience was unpleasant and unprofessional. Worse dinning experience ever.catfish was under cooked,fries soggy,breaded okra soggy,corn on cob looked liked it was sitting... outside on the sidewalk,when she bought the meal to the table hostess then told me they were out of butter why didn't she tellme that when I ordered.i made her take the corn on the cob back and asked for coleslaw instead even the coleslaw was sour.guesswhat don't blame it on COVID.or short staffing I blame it on management.I don't know how they keep the doors open and expressedthat on my way out the DOOR. Management here needs work everytime i go there i go in and hear them yelling and aurguing over something. The food is so hit... and miss anymore. I had a hair in my coleslaw the other night and one of my friends found a hair in a peice of fish on theinside of the batter when he bit into it. I think iam done for awhile there or atleast till they get it together thats reallysad. They use to be the best. Read more
I ordered 60.00 worth of food. 3 separate orders. 2 of 2 fish n more, 1 of 2 fish n shrimp n 1 10pc family meal n gallon sweet... tea. Waited over an hour due to only 1 cook n 1 manager. The order for fish n shrimp was wrong, got home it was chicken nshrimp. Was charged for okra when it was suppose to be for slaw. Said she would give me back my money but then she asked me pickanother side instead which I did cause of her attitude. The 2 meals of fish n more was cold do to it setting in the window for10 minutes while they cooked the rest. Everything was finally given to me but then I had to wait for tea to be made. Not tomention the F word that the manager said n her complaining cause the other Mng did not schedule more workers. Very disappointed Read more
The food here is usually great BUT today....burnt. They were accommodating in replacing my meal with another burnt dried out... over seasoned meal. Read more
Yes, they were short staffed. That's why I understand it took a little extra time to get my food. When I got it is was a good... meal. And, the staff that was there were friendly. The only thing was cleanliness; it wasn't horrible, and, again, I understandthe shortage in staff. I will eat here again. Read more
Been almost a year since I last visited, but the food was hot, service was nice and depending upon what you order , your food... does have to cook and be hot when it is brought to you. Read more
