Phenomenal. Delicious. Flavorful. I?m sure I could come up with more adjectives to describe the lunch we ate at EmpaTaco today... but WOW. We ordered the Birria Tacos and the shredded pork Arepa. This is a gem, humbly situated at the foot of the Madisonville bridge. Heavy Central American influence, not the usual TexMex... fare. Wonderful homemade hot sauces, ( red, green, and chipotle). Delightful tacos, flan, Colombian corn empanadas, arepas, andseveral dishes I can't pronounce. Where else can one find the elusive lengua (beef tongue) taco? Excellent fried sweetplantains. Wow so over the moon about this place. We were hungry, so we ordered a bunch of stuff to try. The birria tacos were amazing and... loaded with meat!
